I dunno if there's already a post about this, but I'm making this one to help anyone who wants it.

How to Save Screenshots from Miiverse
1. Play a Wii U game and make a screenshot in Miiverse (this should work for 3DS games, too).
2. Use a laptop or desktop to access Miiverse.
3. Go to the page where your screenshot is saved.
4. Right click on the page and select the "View Page Source" option.
This will bring up the HTML coding of the page. Don't worry, nothing you do will affect the website or your computer or anything.
5. Scroll down the page until you see the following tag
<div class="screenshot-container">
6. There will be a link right beside the following tag
<img src=
7. Right click on the link and select Open Link In New Tab
8. Your image will be up in a different tab and from there you should be able to right click it and save the image.

THE ABOVE INSTRUCTIONS WORK AS LISTED ON GOOGLE CHROME.

THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS WILL NOT WORK ON THE WINDOWS 8 TILE APP
On Internet Explorer...
1. Follow steps 1 - 3 for Chrome.
2. Right click the page and select View Source
Unlike Google Chrome, Internet Explorer will open a new window with the HTML code inside.
3. Follow steps 5 & 6 for Chrome.
4. Copy the URL and paste it in the address bar (preferably in a new tab)
5. Follow step 8 for Chrome.

Yeah. Or just upload the screenshot to an image host in a higher resolution without using Miiverse.

@Swiket
Maybe on another browser, but it's not possible anymore on IE or Chrome. An update changed that.

Instead of going to miiverse, go to the web browser, go to an image hosting site and when you click to select an image it will give you the option to either pick the image being displayed on the screen or the image being displayed on the gamepad, just like it does on miiverse.

I did this without my PC. Just start a Photobucket account, or a similar file hosting site. Click upload, and you can choose whether to upload the TV or GamePad image.

If I go onto my PC, this picture is in my library, where I can copy it, if I want.

I wonder if this works on 3DS, too...?

I've tried. It doesn't. It lets you choose from the Nintendo 3DS Camera gallery.

I think Nintendo changed Miiverse again. I noticed I can save images by just right clicking them again, and I'm using Chrome.

I like makin' games!
Future Pinball games!
Petit Computer games!!
and SmileBASIC games!
Waiting for Kirby Air Ride 2. One day, it will come. One day...

Just go to a site like Imgur or something while on your WiiU game and Upload your pic there.
You can't save your pics on Miiverse anymore and the Miiverse shots are horrible in quality.

@Mystman12
I can't. The "Save As..." option only allows me to save the entire webpage.
