Topic: Same user, new NNID? Region change? Please help

Hi.

I am from Sweden, but I live in and have purchased a Wii U in Germany. I would like to know what I am to do if I want to access the Swedish eshop, and appear online under a Swedish flag instead of a German one. I gather that a NNID is permanently locked to a country, meaning I have to create a new, Swedish NNID.

How do I do this? I mean, is my user (my Mii with downloaded titles and game saves) separate from my NNID? Could I create a new NNID, link it to my existing user, so I keep all my data? (appart from Wii U friends and Miiverse stats). What of my german NNID then? Would be good if I could keep both since I have Club Nintendo connected to the german one.

Please advise me on what would be the best solution for this.

I wasn't aware there was a difference between European eshops - aren't we all one region? If that's the case then changing the flag would just be a matter of changing your system settings. Sounds like a question for Nintendo support, really.

i think the only thing that's important is that the country setting of the NNID you're using at that moment matches the country setting of the console (which you can always change).
I'm not entirely sure if Ninty's cool with accessing more than one country's eShop with just one Wii U console though.

People have been buying the Mario Kart 8 DLC via an Irish NNID to say £1 (That I think is just stupid considering the potential hassle later).
