Topic: Salvaged coming to Wii U

I don't know if they got around to writing about it here, but there's a game looking for funding on Kickstarter that will be coming to the Wii U that seems like it will actually utilize the gamepad intelligently. It's called Salvaged and you can read more about it here http://kck.st/1i3GsEQ

It's hard to describe, but if you've seen Aliens when the Lieutenant is watching the Colonial Marines move around the building on LV-426, the game basically plays like that. You use the gamepad to issue commands and monitor the area while the screen displays your four characters POV with stats.

Anyway, it looks interesting so I thought I would let you all know if you want to help them fund it.

This is about what I would expect from the 2 screens. It doesn't look like it will get funded, though. There's also the chance that a PC/MAC person doesn't have a second screen, so maybe that's not why it's doing so well. That's just a guess, but everyone with a Wii U is guaranteed to have the GamePad.

Thanks for reminding me on backing this project, I think it was covered in the last KickStarter roundup on NL. I really like the GamePad-based game design.
