Topic: Rumored Sonic game for Wii U launch

someone posted a scan of the different colored sonics from one of his comics. The way the rumor described looks exactly like they do in that scan from their facial expression.

Could be fake since the person who started this could have easily taken that concept from that comic and added more sugar to this rumor

If it's true though, color me excited.

You do know that GoNintendo doesn't make the rumors. It's just a blog, like Joystiq. Rawmeat Cowboy (the "name" of the guy who runs the site) finds interesting stories from other sites and puts them on GoNintendo.

seeing as how This is the same source that broke unleash, color, and genertations before they were announced and also called fake I can put some credability that this may be iin the works.

Maybe it's just me but I think topics about Rumors are pointless.
It's like discussing Religion. Nobody has the right answer because nobody really knows for sure.
If and when this game is announced then you have my attention. As long as it's just a Rumor I won't be caring much.

anyways if rumour is true i certainly hope it stays exclusive not that im worried anyways i did say before that all multiplatform games would be bought on the wiiu instead of my ps3

It sounds very interesting, but I am not going to get excited until I know whether it's a rumor or not. But this kind of game might convince me to buy a Wii U if real.

it's probably more ironic than seeing the sega logo on the mario and sonic london olympics game for the wii, 3ds. sega have become more like buddies with nintendo nowadays, even though sega are making more 3rd party titles for systems like the x box 360 and PS3 than nintendo's consoles.

Yeah, at this point, I think it would honestly be best for both Nintendo and Sega if Big N bought Sega and its franchises, doubt they'll ever do it though, I think Nintendo has too much respect for their former rivals

i do wonder about that, in nintendo buying the rights of sonic, virtua fighter, bayonetta, monkey ball etc. the rivalry between SEGA and nintendo back in the days was very competitive no doubt, but at least it was for the most part fun and as they were a video game company and hardware developer. nowadays, it's sony, microsoft, apple- non-gaming related companies who have jumped on the gaming bandwagon, as well as nintendo.

I'm sure they're workin' on this. Meh...I'd pick this up if it looks sweet.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2006 wasn't THAT bad. Disappointing and broken, yeah. But it was decent.

Plus, His World is an amazing song. Coincidentally, I'm listening to it now before I even came into this thread

Decent implies that it's not broken, so you're logic is flawed.

Never said it wasn't, but that alone doesn't make up for the serious amount of glitches that almost renders the game unplayable.

watch Pokecapn's let's play on it and then say Sonic 06 isn't a horrible game. I DARE YOU.

To be fair, that was the PS3 version, which has even more glitches.

And I've only played the 360 version and watched my brother play. We didn't have that much of any problems as other people.
