The touch sensible screen could provide all kins of buttons the PC centric interface needs.
during a raid, where performing the right action at the right time is absolutely critical, a touchscreen is no substitute for buttons to press. whether it's a controller, a keyboard, a gaming mouse with sixty-bazillion buttons on the side, or some combination thereof, you need to be able to fully concentrate on what's happening in the field of play, and you can't do that without the sure and certain knowledge that you're using the correct macros. you can't be forced to look away from the action in order to see what you need to do, and god forbid you accidentally use your last bit of mana to attack instead of heal, you touch the area of the screen that has you hearth back to town on accident, or you suddenly pull aggro instead of buffing your group's tank.
to have the touchscreen act as your inventory might be fun for a while, and to hold it up at the screen in order to see item descriptions would also be a way to implement the Wii U controller, but for serious players of the game, buttons are a necessity.
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3

HAHAHAHA I just got the mental image of raid wiping on Deathwing when the main healer says sorry guys I hit the wrong button on the touch screen damn Wii U. /raidkick for sure. Lol
There is no way I would trade in my Naga for a touch screen.
Honestly I cant even see doing a 10 man let alone a 25 man raid on the Wii U with killer lag.
It just so happens that Dual Pixels — the originator of this stupendously awful list — is celebrating its first birthday at the moment. Call me cynical, but this list is nothing more than a blatant attempt to build links and drive traffic.
Sadly with over two months left to E3 we have a lot of these lists still to come, guys. But yeah, this is 100% fake.
Professor Layton 5? Downloadble from the eShop? On Wii U? Yeah right~
