I will say I hope the exclusives are of genres that the Wii U is lacking in. A nice varied game library of all the different genres could definitely help the system out. As awesome as KH 3 exclusivity would be, I'm not even going to go into the huge fan backlash that would follow. If you thought the Bayonetta 2 complaining was bad, just imagine that one.

I bet one of them is a Mega Man game and the other one is a JRPG.

My main canidates would be

Mega Man
Dragon's Dogma 2
something else

Could be Dragon Quest 11 since Hori has been talking about it being on the big screen but the way its been said it sound like the next dragon quest will be multiplatform.

The first one was really well received as being a western Monster Hunter games. Its more of a traditional RPG but it took the idea of Monster Hunter fighting giant monsters and built pretty good DnD campaign. The team is obviously working on something else so that could be it. Capcom can't seem to make anything other than Monster Hunter, Phoenix Wright, and Street Fighter without asstiance these days.

I know Microsoft partnered with Capcom on the last one for exclusive content, but with the big N and Capcom being chummy I could see it happening.

Go ahead and yell at me for bumping this thread but I wanted to see what people think these three games could be now that more time has passed. Nintendo's E3 might just showcase each of these three games. I've said over and over that the design for Mega Man in Smash is just perfect and I think Nintendo and Capcom will use it for a brand new Mega Man game. Can you imagine how much hype would happen if a Mega Man game got announced at E3 and its exclusive to Wii U?

I wouldn't be surprised just to steal some thunder away from Mighty number 9.

Now that more time has passed and we have a better idea of the 2015 release calendar, it looks more like this rumour was just a rumour.

2 of these rumored games can be 2016 games while one comes 2015.

I'm going to go ahead and assume that there is a real possibility of a Mega Man game being in the works waiting to be announced at E3 for max hype.

Well, besides Mega Man... Castlevania?! Ninja Gaiden... I don't know. It's hard to think of games that have been multiplatform that could possibly be turning into exclusives. Those are just a few that came to mind.

After reading more of this topic, I would love seeing a Shenmue 3. I think we could potentially see some games from Sega, particularly the Dreamcast era. Maybe we could get a new entry of the Jet Set Radio series.

A new megaman game next year coming for Xbox One,PS4,PS3,Xbox 360 and Vita.Yeah if it comes out to be true,then Nintendo fans won't be seeing the blue bomber on their console.

Mega Man Wii U sounds amazing to me.
Castlevania Wii U sounds like a really good idea.
And some sort of JRPG or funky game would be also great.

You got the Red right, Maybe Ubisofts "secret game" they're working on is (sorry sitting on) is Red Steel 3?!

So, three games that Nintendo salvaged, let's throw some guesses around:

1. Rodea the Sky Soldier
This one is coming out, but it's not certain that Nintendo had anything to do with it.

2. Megaman Legends 3
Fan favorite, sure. The question is, will Capcom allow Nintendo to resurrect such an old project, as 3DS is going for it's last years. Maybe with New Nintendo 3DS, they could add even better control for the game. Hopefully, we could also see ports of 1 and 2 before.

3. Zero Escape 3
This game has been financially troubled for a long time, and I'm not sure if Nintendo sees even some profit on this one. It's a niche game, but has some fans. Could be true.

I just hope that there are more third party titles on the way. At the moment, there are NO third party games whatsoever (not including indie games on the eShop) that have been announced for Wii U other than Project C.A.R.S. Sure, Devil's Third is on its way, but that's a Nintendo published title, so that doesn't really count.

Am I missing something here or are the only upcoming retail games for Wii U published by Nintendo?

Unrealistic prediction alert:
A new Final Fantasy game as the first main-series Final Fantasy game (Remakes and spin-offs don't count) to be released on a Nintendo console since the SNES.

Yes, I know it will never happen, but I can dream can't I?
