Topic: Rumble doesn't work anymore on gamepad

Hello everybody.

I haven't been using my Wii U's gamepad for quite a long time (I only played SSB with the GCN controller for months) and today, when I happened to use it again, it seemed to have stopped rumbling. I tried a couple games and it gives no sign of life. My Wii U is less than a year old, so I really have no idea what could have happened. I keep it in the same drawer as the PS3 controller and that one seems to have weakened its rumble as well (but I'm not 100% sure of that). Rumble is not necessary to enjoy games, but I still would like to solve this issue, or at least understand why that happened. Thank you in advance!

@Pkmns: Go on home menu, controller settings and gamepad settings to make sure it's still set to on.

Moreover, when you turn rumble on in the settings, the gamepad should rumble a little bit

EDIT: I tested it and that's not true. Turning rumble on has no test rumble for the GamePad.

It's probably just turned off. Go to controller settings and turn it on.

Any suggestions? And no I'm not sending my console in for repairs for something so minor since I have 125 Wii Shop games and 278 Wii U eShop games on my console that could potentially be lost if they accidentally sent me another system.

You can send only the GamePad in for repair. You still could play Wii games and maybe you have a friend you can borrow you a GamePad for the waiting time.
