I haven't been using my Wii U's gamepad for quite a long time (I only played SSB with the GCN controller for months) and today, when I happened to use it again, it seemed to have stopped rumbling. I tried a couple games and it gives no sign of life. My Wii U is less than a year old, so I really have no idea what could have happened. I keep it in the same drawer as the PS3 controller and that one seems to have weakened its rumble as well (but I'm not 100% sure of that). Rumble is not necessary to enjoy games, but I still would like to solve this issue, or at least understand why that happened. Thank you in advance!
gamepad has rumble? lol i think i turned it off the second i saw the setting when i first booted it up... i'm used to turning rumble off for smash so i've learned to just do it i guess
Any suggestions? And no I'm not sending my console in for repairs for something so minor since I have 125 Wii Shop games and 278 Wii U eShop games on my console that could potentially be lost if they accidentally sent me another system.
I hereby declare, in the presence of @nintendofwbaby, @gaming_24_7, @martinskrtel37 and all of the members of Nintendolife, that I officially am an utter, undeniable idiot.
(Thank you for your help, guys!)
@Neko_Rukiafan, I'm pretty sure you can buy another gamepad online

You can send only the GamePad in for repair. You still could play Wii games and maybe you have a friend you can borrow you a GamePad for the waiting time.
