I've heard that it's closest to Black Flag in terms of gameplay and design, so I'd pick it up. Black Flag is probably my favorite AC game to date. But since I was one of like 20 people to buy it on Wii U, this seems pretty unlikely.

When I saw this thread, I thought it was for Star Wars Rogue Squadron from the GameCube. But AC: Rogue is something I wasn't expecting lol I did buy AC3 (inc DLC) and AC4 though. Not bad games.
Edit: I wouldn't pick up Rogue, just for the record. Still need to play AC2 and its related titles.

You should Ezio is the best series in AC and really are brilliant however some aspects have not aged well in the short time they have been out so its a shame youddidn't get to play them at there launch.I hope you enjoy tthem when you do though
In an age where no company is safe and tastes change in an instant all companies need each other. The Wii was massive and then the 360 now its the PS4 but it wont stay that way forever for all we know two years from now the NX could be the biggest thing in gaming and it will be companies like Ubisoft who need Nintendo
If you actually think this then you must be blind really blind. Cause Nintendo got lucky with the Wii,cause casuals bought that in drones, and the PS4 has dominated everyone else in this gen. I don't think a new Console especially from Nintendo! Will even get the sales the PS4 has gotten. Last thing Ubisoft don't need Nintendo never will,cause they have there IP's and the other consoles to keep them afloat for a long time.
Relax im not seriously saying Nintendo will easily dominate next gen but I'm also not saying its impossible. Sure Sony is dominating now that's undeniable but success in one gen does not guarantee it in another look at SNES to N64 PS2 to PS3 360 to One next gen the PS5 could flop massively and NX could dominate just as much as Xbox whatever could be the best thing ever. All I'm saying is sometimes in business it makes sense to not have all your eggs in one basket and sometimes a few little acts of goodwill go a long way.
The NX would dominate ( Which i don't think will happen ever)the Xbox One and PS4. But what about the next generation? And i don't think Sony will mess up the PS5 cause they just have to do the samething they did with the PS4 and they're set. Microsoft just need to fix somethings and they're good as well. Now Nintendo has to do alot to catch up, and while they're doing that the others are already ahead of them and it will continue for a long time.
I think that's a fair opinion but you forget Sony's transition from PS2 to PS3 and how it shows even they can make mistakes and that more of the same does not always work. I don't think Nintendo are as far behind ad you think. I don't think any publisher will commit forever to only one half of the industry they will always want tobe prprotected against future change of tastes. I think next gen third parties supporting Nintendo will make financial sense. But like I said its just what I think.
