I'll be waiting for reviews on this game before I buy it... Or maybe not. It looks very Dreamcast era Sonic to me, which was my favorite Sonic period. So maybe I'll just buy it anyway lol.

I've always pre-ordered my games from Game, preferring to use physical stores to purchase stuff, and knowing that I can trust the site because I've used it often. As such, I've never really pre-ordered from anywhere else, and have had difficulties when attempting to in the past.
This time though, I am very eager to acquire the Wii version of Rodea the Sky Soldier and Game still has yet to have the game up for pre-order. I just need to ask then, for anyone who is pre-ordering from Nisaeurope, how I need to go about it? As in, do I need a Paypal account? To have an account with Nisaeurope?
Limited Edition! Get 2 of the same games in the same box!
lol yeah. I'm one of the few people that just want the Wii U version, and doesn't want to bother with the Wii version.

Just wondering... is it worth the extra £20 for the Limited Edition version from the Nintendo Store? Amazon are selling Rodea for £39.85 and the description states the Wii version is included, so for £20+ (£59.99 for LE) you get a hardcover artbook, soundtrack CD and Key of Time pendant. I could understand the higher price if it included the Wii version; otherwise it seems a lot for the extras (unless I'm being stingy). I've got both pre-ordered in case Amazon's description is wrong (if it's Wii U version only), but LE version... worth it or not?
I'm kind of hesitant about pre-ordering this now after how it did in Japan, I want to wait for reviews but don't want to miss out on the WIi copy.
Why not pre-order anyway? Sites like Amazon and Nintendo don't take payment until dispatch, so you'll have until the November release date to cancel if you wish.

I know you posted in April but this might help others too: Regarding nisaeurope's site, you can pay via PayPal or credit/debit card; I'm not sure if you need a nisaeurope account, but if you do register and order Rodea you (should) receive £5 off your next order via reward points. However, they take the full amount immediately and you only have 30 days to cancel.
Some alternatives are Nintendo's Store (UK-only shipping) or Amazon (worldwide shipping) - they don't take payment until dispatch and I'd trust them more than either nisaeurope (having never used them) or GAME (many problems with them).
Is it still classed as double posting 2 months later? I'm surprised nobody has resurrected this thread due to the imminent release of Rodea (US: November 10th, EU: November 13th), so thought I'd wake it up. Are people still interested in the game? We've heard very little about it.
Also, if anybody could answer the question from my previous post, it would be appreciated. Just wondering what the preference is regarding standard versus limited edition. I've got dual pre-orders, an impending release date, yet little information to go on...
I didn't go for the Limited Edition from NIS because the price is too high for the extra's. Artbooks and CD's often come in Limited Editions sold for the regular edition price.
I've pre-ordered the first print of the Wii U version even though I'm not 100% sold on the game yet but the I like the idea of waggle controls of the included Wii version and it'll be too hard/pricey to get a copy later if I change my mind.

I'm still interested in Rodea: The Sky Soldier. It's been my most anticipated game of the year for a while now; probably helped out by the wonderful coverage that Siliconera has been doing. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to link to another site here, but you should search up the articles Siliconera have been doing on Rodea: The Sky Soldier, they've been delightful to read.
As for the advantage of standard vs. limited edition, I think the key difference that most people focus on is that the limited edition comes with the Wii version of the game. The Wii version is the original version of the game, and rather oddly, is considered the superior version. I believe that is because the Wii U version is an upgraded HD version of the 3DS version of Rodea, rather than the Wii version (I guess they did that to make the implementation of touch controls easier in the porting process).
Oh, and thanks to responding to my old post. By that point, I have indeed pre-ordered the game from NISA Europe. I'm now eagerly anticipating the arrival of my copy, although I doubt I'll have access to the TV, my brother seems intent on taking the game room to play Fallout 4.
@Souldin Thanks for pointing me to Siliconera's Rodea articles. I think the game looks good but the reviews haven't been great so far - as you've mentioned, it seems the U version is inferior. Regarding Standard versus Limited, Amazon UK's Standard includes the Wii version but not the extras, hence why I am undecided.

Exactly... I'm not sure if the artbook and CD are worth the extra £20, although I'll probably end up going for that version anyway. I'm really surprised this game isn't receiving more attention - it seemed to be quite an anticipated title not so long ago.

Yeah, Siliconera's articles got me pretty pumped up for the game's release. I'm surprised as well that more people are not talking about Rodea The Sky Soldier; a new game by Yuji Naka, and one with a very interesting development history; I figured it would get more attention.
Here's hoping my delivery arrives today. NISA Europe haven't been updating me on it's delivery, which worries me a lot, but hopefully all is well. I'll be rather ticked if I miss out on the Wii version, and I'd like to be able to try the game out today as my younger brother plans on hoarding the game room tomorrow.
Edit: Well... it seems I won't be having a chance to worry about playing the game today. It doesn't come out until the 13th... I thought it was the 9th it came out... for some reason. So, I now have to ponder how I'm going to get my brother to stop playing Fallout 4 so I can play Rodea.
