Topic: Rewatching old E3 press conferences

This is honestly just for hype. If I can't be disappointed for the E3 2013 Direct, then nothing will. Also, I hate the no crowd reaction in 2009.

You definitely should rewatch E3 2008. Classic. And it brings out the masochist in me.

I'm actually watching E3 2009 right now and the only good things about it was Galaxy 2, Other M, Dark Dawn, 3rd parties. 4 things. I don't even wanna see 2008. But I know I have to watch it eventually.

Done watching Nintendo's E3 2009. Wasn't that great. Thank god Cammie Dunaway is gone.

E3 2007, you better have actual crowd reactions to Brawl/Kart. Pls.

I believe 2007 was when E3 became much smaller. Very little press was invited and it was basically sales bragging.

I don't usually rewatch E3 conferences, but I'm never going to get tired of Sony's 2006 masterpiece! Giant enemy crabs (These battles actually took place in ancient Japan, oh, and it has real-time weapon switching), $599, no gimmicks at all, and Riiiidgeee Raaccccerrr!

No E3 will ever be able to top it.

I like rewatching some of the reactions to older Nintendo E3s. There's this really old one for 2001, it's amazing. I get legit hyped for Pikmin and Smash Bros. Melee. XD

Nintendo's E3 2007 was okay. Lots of boring graphs, but it did bring something godly: My body is ready. For E3 2014.
Hopefully 2006 won't be boring, since you know, Brawl reveal.

Twilight Princess and Melee, even tho not liking the former and haven't played the latter yet, they ALWAYS give me goosebumps.

To the OP I think Sony deserves a higher score. After powning Microsoft and making the crowd roar they deserve at least a 9.

I don't rewatch entire conferences. I'll watch segments to see reactions again. The Twilight Princess reveal is one of my all time favourites to this day. The hair still stands up on the back of my neck when I see it.

I would have to agree with this. I always felt like Sony silently kicked Microsoft while they were down. I just remember the crowd's reaction to the PS4 being $100 USD cheaper than the XB1.

You have to watch all of the 2006 E3s. Those were the best ones. It was also the first E3 that I actually sat down and watched. Purely a PC gamer at the time, didn't know what to expect.

I think Sony gets a little to much credit for E3 2013. All Sony did was continue the same services they were offering with PS3 while making PS+ required on more features. You get those same services on Wii U without having to pay for online
