The color emulation problem has already been brought up in the past on a few sites with several people complaining.
My NES games boast better color and brightness(and that's through a composite connection) on my NES in comparison to how they look running through 'component' on my Wii.

I dunno, maybe I have bad eyes or something. But I've always thought my vc games look perfectly fine. Maybe that is because of the tv I use though..

Funny, usually when I run an NES game through an Emulator, it looks brighter than the Original. I don't have an NES to compare, but I've yet to play a Wii NES game that looked ugly. Sure it's not your TV?

My original tv was crap so I can't complain about anything now. (I sometimes had to jiggle the cords so it would stop going wavy but I still had white specs).
