I think he wanted Wii U Retail RPGs sonce this is in the Wii U section. And probably more concerned about future releases, not games that are already out
Not sure why he only wants to look at Retail games, some of current consoles' best games are digital only
I'm fairly confident that there will be one game in the Tales of franchise released on the Wii U at some point since this was the case for the Gamecube and Wii, but other then that it's a big question mark as to whether or not there will be any other retail RPG's released for the Wii U besides Xenoblade Chronicles X, though on the digital side of things we'll be getting Alphadia Genesis, Two Brothers: Director's Cut, Soul Saga, Citizens of Earth, Earthlock: Festival of Magic, and many more that I can't think of offhand, with Alphadia Genesis being a Kemco RPG rather than an indie title and Citizens of Earth is being published by ATLUS!
Absolutely, but NamDai won't even consider it. A shame, but they're well-known for bad decisions by now.
Keep releasing their games on a 80+ million console or release a game on a sub 10 million console. What would the bad decsion be? Even if their next Tales is on PS4, by the time it get's released the PS4 might have double the sales of the Wii U. The only time a Tales Of game on Wii U would've made sense is right around the release back in 2012 or if it starts selling extremely well in the future(or Nintendo microsofts them to do it).
The reason I said retail is because the scope of digital RPGs never comes close to those of retail. You're never going to get a game with the amount of content of something like The Witcher or Persona as a digital title. That said, I will be picking up Citizens of Earth and potentially Earthlock.
So nothing else confirmed then as I thought?
Also, a Tales game would be nice but I'm doubtful it'd happen, as easy as it would be to even just port something like a Tales of Xilia double-pack or Graces, etc.
She was like a candle in the wind... Unreliable.

Another 3DS Tales has a lot more potential.
Well Tales of Symphonia on the GameCube sold better than any PS2 Tales game, so consoles sales aren't everything.

Yep. I have a hunch that they are probably working on a 3DS main series Tales title.
As for Wii U, prospects are really low. Tales has traditionally done better on non-Sony platforms in the west, but that's changing with increased marketing. Even if it wasn't, Japan is their primary market, and I'm pretty sure Wii U has a pretty awful rate of upgrade from the Wii.
The HD symphonia is 30fps so only really stupid people should get it. (The important thing is how it plays not how it looks like).
The way the combat works it does matter.
ToS Chronicles is one of the laziest ports I've ever seen. But if you live in the west and you don't have a Gamecube and haven't played Symphonia, it's worth playing even at a reduced frame rate. The first game is one of the best games of all time.

It sold less because it was a port. Ports always sell less, with the exception of Tales of Graces f, which, if anything, pretty much proved where their fanbase was...

Ummm, Destiny 2, Rebirth, Legendia, and Abyss aren't ports, the PS2 were their platform or origin, and they all sold less than Symphonia whose platform of origin is the GameCube.

Graces F sold horribly outside of Japan. I'm pretty sure it's one of the worst selling Tales games in the west.
