Me too, because I'm selling my PS3 pretty soon and snaging a standard Sony Bluray Player instead. I just hate the idea of watching movies on a video game console...A console that i never play games on either.

Anyways, aside from RE6, i hope we get a port of the new BioShock Infinite for the Wii U as well.

You don't HAVE to watch movies on a PS3. I only use my PS3 for games. I have Netflix for my movie enjoyment (and I can use that on my Wii, 3DS, and PS3).

I'm surprised you are getting rid of your PS3, considering you always complain about Wii games not being in HD.

Also hoping for a Vita version, I love my games on the GO. This game has both of the things I like about Resident Evil. Survival Horror for the Leon segment, and Coop shooting action for the Chris Segment, I'm not sure what to make of the Bald guy's with Ashley segment though... getting a Beat-em up vibe here. This game along with Revelations _{And to an extent Operation Raccoon City} Will make the best year for the RE franchise ever.

I'm guessing those characters in the RE6 trailer are all going to connect somehow, like there won't be specific gameplay segments for each character. Their stories will converge.

Obviously they will overlap each other Captain. But I'm not talking about the core mechanics. Think back on Resident Evil Revelation's progression. Three different scenario's for Jill+Parker, Chris+Jessica and two new Agents, they will link through an episodic fashion, but have a different "feel" to them(Jill being horror focused and Chris being action oriented).
What I'm saying is, all their scenarios will share the same game mechanic, but will each have a different feel/atmosphere to them as Capcom is trying to appease two different audiences. I dunno, Thats my take on it after reading the press. :I

I never once complained about Wii games not being HD! You probably have it confused based on the entire 720p/1080p talk regarding Wii U games, whichever resolution they may be. I'm fine with the Wii rocking 480p, i always have been. The only thing Wii-related that I've ever complained about is that Nintendo never released an official wireless Nunchuck. The added weight from the 2AA batteries it would take and no wire to worry about would of been ace. Oh man now I'm really going off topic....

Also, there are only maybe a couple games out right now and maybe a couple or so on the way that I'm interested in. Mortal Kombat as of now, and Resident Evil 6, along with BioShock Infinite and maybe Twisted Metal which are on the way this year. Yet I don't think it's honestly worth keeping a system just for a few games. And I'd be fine without it.....Besides if RE6 never makes it to the Wii U(It 'Will' make it on the Wii U ) I'll just rent the PS3 down the line with the game itself and whalla! I'll get my quick funky man fix.

Besides, I can't even play my PS3 on my current HDTV, the input lag is too high rocking in at over 40ms, where as the Wii works fantastic. Must be all of that extra HD proccessing...

Twisted Metal would've been a nice game if it would be possible but the whole online pass and the fact that there is only three characters in it really makes the game sound like a horrible revival. Bioshock though I wouldn't be surprise if it's on the Wii U. That's a game I would love to play as well.

There are only 3 characters in the new Twisted Metal? Wow. And that's a Sony game, it will never be on anything else but PlayStation.

As for the online pass thing, I don't get why everyone hates it. You buy a game and it comes with the code (unless you buy used, then you just download the code from PSN).

The thing is it kills the business of used games or rentals so if that's how you get the game then you have to purchase one. It's a horrible thing to those two ways of business.

I'll wait until 2020 when Resident Evil 6: Golden Super Hyper Ultra Zombie Ponies Edition With Jill's Butt is released.

Nah, thats for the Street Fighter and Vs. series. Capcom won't make a profit for milking this series And no, Jill wasn't confirmed for this game, if anything the cover should show Chris' 'Roid powered Biceps. But, just to be sure, I'm holding out for the Resident Evil 6: Gold plated Platinum Edition encrusted with Diamonds with Move enabled.

the blonde girl is sherry, and the mercenary is wesker's son. his blood could be used to form a cure for the new C virus, which is probably why a nemesis is trying to kill him. also, ada is the one releasing the virus and infecting everyone. chris wants to kill her and leon wants to arrest her alive, and they end up fighting over it (go leon. chris sucks).

you can choose which character to start with, just like in the old games. leon's segment has him going through the university building where the president got infected, and it already looks scarier than anything in re5:
