GamePad only play is a wonderful option when you are in the middle of a boss fight and your wife wants to watch The Bachelor at 8:00.
a divorce seems the easier option

As @ogo79 said, the SNS-RZ-USA is a prime giveaway that it's not a legit retail cart.
And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)
The GBA sounds cool. I'm hoping for retouched sprites. And a young boy's dream here, but I'd like there to be an option to do multiplayer on them with Wii motes, using a WiiU gamepad stand. I also, when playing my DS, like to have the TV on in the background. I don't know if anybody else does that, but gamepad only play would mean a lot.
I agree with the OP 100%. I'd prefer to see the GamePad as an accessory for maps, weapons, tools, etc. in various games. I've been playing Scribblenauts and to be honest, it seems most of the game is ON the gamepad, not on the TV. it disappoints me because I really enjoy the 1080 appearance on my television and I already own a DS. To me, I should be looking at the TV 70-80% of the time if I'm playing a game, not the other way around. I'm all for portability in taking the game OFF the TV if you prefer, but please don't make more games that require me to sit and stare at the controller for inordinate amounts of time while my TV goes unnoticed.
