I bought the Wii U bundle that included digital copies of Mario 3D World and Nintendo Land preinstalled. If I reformat this system, will those games reappear as part of the default setting, or would I have to buy them all over again?
You'd lose all the saved data, but you can redownload it with these steps;
What to Do:
From the Wii U Menu, select the Nintendo eShop icon and tap "Open."
Select "My Menu" or press the Y Button.
Select "Your Downloads" and the type of content being redownloaded (Software or Content).
Select "Downloaded Software" or "Downloaded Content."
Scroll through the list of titles, and select "Download" next to the title you wish to redownload. You may need to toggle between "Downloaded Titles" and "Software on This Console" to find the title you are looking for.
If the "Download" option is not visible, this indicates the software is already installed on your Wii U console. Installed software can be found on the Wii U Menu.
If the selected content has a rating, it will be displayed on the screen. Select "Next" to continue.
Select "Download."
Select "Next," and then select "Download" again.
The download will begin automatically. Select "Continue" to return to the Nintendo eShop Menu.
