Topic: Recommend some WII U games

So work has finally calmed down and I have sometime to enjoy some games and wondering if you guys could recommend some WII U titles. I have Mario Kart 8 and Im enjoying that loads I'm not into fighters so Smash doesn't appeal to me and Dynasty warrior style games i find boring.... I like Adventure/Action titles the odd shooter and I love RPG's.

The titles im looking forward to are Sonic Boom. XenoBlade X, Zelda and Devils third, I own a PS4 so not that interested in third party games as I can play them on the PS4.

P.S Im fed up with Mario Platformers so please avoid suggesting that type of game.

I think Sonic Lost World is underrated, I find it a lot of fun

Another good Wii U-exclusive third party title is ZombiU.
Do you like any platformers? If so, I highly recommend Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze. Much less relaxed than the typical Mario platformer.

@Ralizah I like Platformers just feel that its all I've been playing on the WII U lately, ZombiU is good and Ive completed it I picked up with the console at launch, Guess I could play Wind Waker again just this time in HD . Donkey Kong is on my list to get too but like I said wanted something a bit more action/adventure with a nice story.

@skywake Bayonetta 2 is a maybe I didn't like the first one so will wait for the price to drop. Wonderful 101 is a good idea forget all about that game.

@Grumblevolcano I was a sega child so Im a huge sonic fan so I will pick up Lost world.

In addition to what's been said already:
Pikmin 3, where the local 2-player co-op and battle modes can extend this game quite a bit.
Scram Kitty and His Buddy on Rails - a unique indie that you'll love or hate.
Super Mario 3D World - I know it's a Mario game, but it's a great game that is quite different to the 2D Mario platformers and to the Mario Galaxy games.
XType Plus - An indie shooter only consisting randomly generated boss levels.

Teslagrad, SteamWorld Dig, Stick it to the Man!, Guacameele! Super Turbo Championships Edition are great indies that all have really good Wii U ports.

Game & Wario. That's all I gotta say (maybe because it and Mario Kart 8 are the only Wii U games I play).

I'm surprised Need for Speed Most Wanted hasn't had more mentions...top game.

I asked people to keep third party recommends to a min as the ports normally are crap and I have a PS3,PS4 so will just pick them up on one of those consoles. Most wanted is indeed a good game tho.

Pikmin 3, Wonderful 101, Nintendo Land, Earthbound (yes, it's a virtual console game, but you play it on Wii U, so it still counts.), Mario Kart 8, DKC Tropical Freeze, Teslagrad, Wind Waker HD, and Rayman Legends (Yeah, it's multiplatform, but it's still on Wii U). Those would be my highest recommendations.
