Anything playable on the wii u - that means wii u retail, eshop, virtual console, backwards compatible Wii games, and even gamecube games (through nintendont - I promise I'll buy the disc). She liked splatoon for a while but got frustrated because people kept splatting her. Now she says it's too hard :/ I've tried the dora games for wii but they're crap. She likes the Zen Color Kids eshop game but I want her to try something a bit more advanced. I got that flower thingy game from the eshop based on the trailer but the trailer lied - it's a bit crap and it's too complicated for kids her age, and the actual gameplay is nothing like the trailer. She likes the plessie level from SMW3D. Anyone any ideas?

Mario Kart. Wii or 8. My son loved these games, including the steering wheel. Wii Sports Club would also be good, and Wii Sports Resort was also a blast for the kid.

EDIT - Yoshi's Woolly World. It has settings that make it super-easy, and there's co-op so you guys can play together.

Have you tried Kirby's Epic Yarn? It's cute, it's low difficulty, and you can play along with her.

You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

Try TANK!TANK!TANK!....it's simple and my kids love it. You destroy giant monsters in tanks and it has multiplayer. My twins are 7 now but they must of been about 4 when I first got it.
When I got it was free to try in the eshop, not sure if it still is, and it only let you play so much per day but if you bought one cheap piece of DLC you got to play unlimited. I forgot what I even bought but I didn't pay much and it is one of the most played games in my activity log. The ultimate value purchase I ever made on my Wii U.

Sonic Racing, Mario platformers, Lego City Undercover, any Lego game and any Sonic game. I think a 3 year old could play around 70% of all Wii U games.

Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker.

Kirby and the Rainbow Paintbrush, but keep in mind that the player will only play on the Gamepad touchscreen.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I will go with @blaisedinsd 's idea and get tank tank tank (mostly because I want it too). next down the list would be. Kirby canvas game. She's only three and I know it depends, but I really don't think she's up for most of the rest. Thanks again though, and I'm always open to more suggestions.

@toxibunny Cool, I hope you and the kid enjoy it. I am wondering if they still sell it piece by piece in the eshop? It would suck if you have to pay 49.95 for it. It was a launch title so maybe you could find a physical copy for cheap if they don't free to play and sell the game as parts of DLC approach anymore.

Mario Party 10 might be a good one! A lot of it is rolling dice and easy to learn mini games (that the computer players are horrible at and easy to beat)
