@OfficialWavestaRag I can just imagine the PSBOX crowd lining up at the stores now ready to change their COD: Ghosts preorders just to get those grubby twin stick shooter claws on that hardcore Rayman dude... Sales will definitely shoot into the stratosphere, a couple of hundred at most

lmao, too true! It's painfully obvious how desperate Ubi is to get the word out, what, with all of those '9.0' Internet review scores scattered throughout the game trailer. It still wont convince the Stubble Warrior shooter crowd, This is a game that belongs on a nintendo console. I also love the terrible choice of music they picked for that trailer...why couldn't they of gone with something more whimsical and artsy?

Oh I know...Because those hardcore maturez PS3/Xbots would deem it childish. Instead, make way for agressive unfitting modern trendy hip hop beats, which also plagued that god awful Wii U launch trailer, aka > The iCarly cubicle rave party hotel of soccer mom madness.

Anyways, Legends will probably semi-bomb in sales and ubi will instead be forced to turn the franchise into a childrens pop-up book series.

Question for people who have it: what do you have to do to transfer data from the challenge app? Does it just do it on it's own?

What the what?

I really hope it does...it'll give me a chance to climb the leaderboards again. I was relatively high for a while (within the overall top 1000) but after I stopped playing daily my overall rank plummeted

@ploxy yeah im pretty sure it doesnt carry over i was level 5 awesomeness on the app and had to start again. but long forgotten seems to think otherwise so maybe i missed something. also my wii u crashed the first time i tried to access the challenges so maybe it was something to do with that, but i dont think so.

put it on.

Oh man, I really hope not. That would be a huge difference for my rank, and I worked hard for that. Well, then again, it would be kinda fun to claim the ranks again like @PloXyZeRO said.
One other question. Haven't heard anyone talk about the funky ray costume. Does it exist?

Gamespot's review in a nutshell: "Silly Ubisoft try make game on Wii U. Wii U game make Tom sad 'cause Rayman make him use gimmicky controller to enhance gameplay. Tom rate game lower because it don't have linear interactivity like other version."

GameSpot: Microsoft, Activision and EA shills - equally as bad as IGN

Digital Foundry on the other hand said the Wii U version of Rayman Legends is the most definitive version and fully recommends it

based on nearly every single reaction to this game and the Wii U version specifically, I'd like to declare Rayman the official savior of the Wii U.

Beyond Good and Evil 2 better be happening! In the meanwhile though, here's a fun little Let's Play of the original. Think you'll like the game if you like Zelda!

Seconded. It justifies the Gamepad, something Nintendo doesn't seem to care to do.

I've only had this for a day but I'm seriously thinking it's the best 2D platformer ever made, at least when it comes to multiplayer.

Best thread ever

I can buy it. I mean, I love DKCR but its multiplayer made no major difference to me and I actually preferred it single player (so the complete opposite of NSMBWii basically).

USGamer (related to Eurogamer) gave Rayman Legends on Wii U 2.5/5.

I gave the demo a go - didn't tickle my fancy, so I'll keep skipping Rayman games. Thank goodness for demos.

That's funny, because I didn't plan on buying the game UNTIL I played the challenges app...then I was sold. And I sure don't regret my purchase...not until my GPA starts dropping anyway.
