Topic: Question: is the European Wii U power brick universal as well?

I brought my Wii U over to Brasil without thinking about the power difference. I found out that the American Wii U has a universal power brick. Is the European power brick universal as well? Since the Wii U isn't officialy supported here I doubt I'd find a 110V labeled one (just to be sure). I really don't wanna fry my Wii U.

EDIT: According to a certain 'raffaa' on GBAtemp it worked for him. I'd like some more long term info, but I guess I won't find any.

Not sure if it applies to you but I my WII U was bought in Italy and works perfectly in UK sockets, so I assume the European power brick is universal.

Well UK and continental Europe aren't as different in Voltage as Japan and the Americas, so that's not a surprise. @barrock123 I believe they are, though they're not labelled as such, but if you want to be double-sure, just get a local power supply. I think the expense is worth it.

I can 100% confirm that the European power brick is bi-volt. Have used it for some time and it worked well here (at 120V-60Hz). Ah, it's fun playing 4 player smash with controllers instead of the poverty emu+keyboard setup we had running when I was younger. Thanks for the replies!
