Not hating on Rayman Legends at all, I own and enjoyed Origins... but WHY is that the only game to play on the demo? I mean, I have heard so much that Nintendo Land is a great example/use of the GamePad, and Nintendo has a third party title to play on their demo units, and not a first party title? I just find that... odd.
I know three Best Buys in my area are getting them, but the Nintendo rep hadn't been by on Monday, I'll be checking back tomorrow for sure.
Maybe they won't show nintendo land because it's multiplayer based. or because half the wiiu owners get it for free anyway. they want to persuade customers to buy games i guess. Thse other demo's will be there without a doubt

Probably because Rayman Legends is the most impressive graphical showcase of the bunch. NSMBU and Nintendo Land should be there for crying out loud, Nintendo Land especially as it makes great use of the GamePad. Those silly BB kids and their fancy pantsy HD graphics. Back in my day!-

It sucks that my Best Buy is a ways a way from my house. I can't drive (just yet) and the only way I could go there is if my mom has something she needs to get around the same place, which doesn't happen often. The closest GameStop is also in the same area. I might just have to call them sometime...

I just got surprised big time... Visiting my gamestop to pick up 3DS money, I SAW THE WII U DEMO UNIT.
It only had rayman legends, but it was really fun, and the controller feels REALLY big as well. I'm impressed. Going to Best buy this weekend to see if I can play the other games as well.

Apparently EB Games Australia are going to start getting demo units "soon". Sometime before the Nov 30th launch I would assume but hopefully sooner rather than later. Other retailers are probably also getting them, like Target, BigW and JBs ect, but I've only heard about EBs. Shouldn't be too long before I can try out the Wii U for myself

I finally got to try out the Wii U today! I must say, the Gamepad looked bigger then I thought, and yet I handled it way better then I first figured. I guess having big hands help. I actually felt a little dizzy when I started Rayman Legends everything was just so incredible! I have taken several pictures on my 3DS, but I don't know how to get them on the forums (I have gotten them onto my computer files though). Can someone tell me how to do that?

Just have to say, that made me laugh.
I remember @3Dash said he got to play and had a lot of fun playing Rayman Legends when he got to try it out at, Gamestop, I think, and he got pictures with his 3DS.
I just tried it at my Gamestop today. The only playable demo there was Rayman Legends, but it was fun, I'll probably get it when the full version comes out.

That didn't stop them from Demoing the Wii with Wii Sports, and more recently Mario Party 9. It really is perplexing, but I guess they wanted to show off an exclusive (ahem, "exclusive") game that still makes good use of the controller, in order to show they're serious about third-party support.
