Topic: Project Sora, Namco Bandai developing next Smash Bros

Namco Bandai made Mario Superstar Baseball on Gamecube. Loved that game, they really "got" the Mario style.

yeah to be fair, I just don't care about Baseball games vs. Tennis or Golf games. That's not Namco's fault.

But Assault was half...not that good and I hated the arcade Mario Kart. Again, I don't think that's fair or that relevent, just a thought I had.

My only worry is that they don't COMPLETELY change or mess up the forumla. Keep it the same but just build on it. I do like my Tekken and Soul Calibur, but there's a reason why I prefer Smash Bros. and why I like the games for their own styles.

Oh man I forgot about Klonoa. Please Namco Bandai make it happen!

Maybe they'll make the adventure mode more like a traditional RPG, except the battles will be Smash Bros. style. Or maybe that will just be for the 3DS version. The adventure mode in the Wii U version may try to be like NSMBW, where you can have four player co-op and work your way through side scrolling stages.

Guys, Sakurai is still the boss here. He will break knee-caps and upend tables to get this game how he wants it and knows it should be.

Think we'll see anything from Baten Kaitos? I think Xenoblade has a really good chance of making it in.

And Reggie keeping it real- People ask for Mario at launch, they give them a Mario game, "What else?" They give them something akin to Smash Bros. in regards to "crossovers", they still want more. Pikmin? I want more. That's what I call: Telling it like it is sans le sugar. According to him, there's a lot of satiable people. And frankly, it's true.

I like this but I wish they'd put in Square Characters because that has the best roster for characters, I mean tons of FF characters, KH, DQ, TWEWY, and they can finally put GENO in if it was Square

Guys, it's not like the company has to work with Sakuri to get their characters in the game. Hideo Kojima and Sega didn't help with Brawl. They just asked for their characters to be in it.

It makes a ton of sense why this happened beyond fun crossover appeal. Developing two fighting games simultaneously that will be connected for two different systems, one of which on what will be, at least for a little while, the most powerful gaming console around is going to need a ton of people. Like Assassin's Creed Revelations number of people (except without the "because they need to rush an uncreative sequel for the holiday season" part).

Square didn't want Geno in brawl. :/
