Topic: Problem with the standby function.

Im downloading onepiece unlimited world red right now and the game is pretty huge 11 gigs.
so im using the standby function and its not working properly. the orange light shows up normally but after some time like 10 minutes it goes red. meaning of course its not downloading.. right? or am i missing something? im not using a usb powered hard drive either. im downloading the game straight to my wiiU storage. so whats the problem here? is anyone facing the same issue?

Did you double check you settings?

Pikmin downloaded for me while the light was red. I don't think the light color matters anymore with the newest update.

I think the light is only there to tell you if it's safe to unplug. Don't disconnect the power when it's yellow. You can disconnect when it's red.

Ryno- yeah well there's nothing much in the settings for standby is there? i checked it and there's nothing thats related with the issue

brewsky- yeah i made that mistake already. i accidentally unplugged it yesterday and i had to download it again. it seems the wiiu wont pause the download. the game gets corrupted. but even tho its still downloading, the light goes red! thats my problem here.

Wait a day without using the system

yeah well it happened again and i quickly turned it on and went to check the download and guess what? it was in 'pending' mode. that doesn't sound good to me. even tho im downloading ONLY one game it said it was pending. pending for what?
