You do it through your Wii U.

If I'm not mistaken, you go to the eShop (or through your system settings) and you will get an option to link club nintendo accounts. After doing this, your Wii U will appear on your list of games and systems on the Club Nintendo site.

After that, you need to do the obligatory survey, and you'll earn your 1000 stars.

Same problem here. Got the Wii U, later set up a club Nintendo acc since I didn't have one. Put my ID into the Wii U, no points, no survey, nothing.

The option to connect the Nintendo Network ID with your Club Nintendo account is hidden in the eShop menu. I had to call the Nintendo helpdesk three times before they figured it out! Keep looking (and scrolling!), it is there

You earn 1000 stars? Really I though it was only like 500? Is this for all Wii U's?

I think that's what I did, I putted my id in the Eshop in an option buried about 3 levels down. It says my Nintendo club membership and Id are linked but no points.

When you setup your Wii U and link your Nintendo ID with club nintendo, an grey entry appears on club Nintendo. Click on the option to Register and it gives u 1000 stars and registers your Wii U. There is no scratch off panel such as you get with games.

This is the third survey that I do on the UK Club Nintendo where at the end I get a 404 error.

Hi everybody! I´m new at this forum! (sorry for my english!!!)
I have problems setting or linking my nintendo ID with my club nintendo account, as MK_II said, I has the "club nintendo" option, on the eshop menu hidden, so my question is...what I should do to solve this problem...how did you do to unhide the club nint button on the menu? thanks in advance

1. Go to Club Nintendo

2. Put the serial number on the box in the Pin# or Serial# field. Be sure you include the number or letter in the square. [X]
Do not put a space or the brackets.

3. https://club.nintendo.com/link-shop-account.do;jsessionid=FF1...

Also for anyone out there having issues with surveys not going through use Firefox as your web browser and it will fix that problem.

★Hope this helps★
