Topic: Power Button Functionality when console frozen.

Since the 3.0.0 I 've only had 2 freezes, in both of them I was able to shut it down holding the power button. Which is odd because I wan't able to do this before the 3.0.0 update, and Nintendo didn't address this feature with the update. Now that I don' t need to unplug, the console can't be damaged when it freezes, right?
Have you noticed if after the update when your console freezes that the power button actually works?

Honestly, I only had 1 freeze a month until March. After March, I didn't have a freeze once, but it's good to know I suppose. The system is definitely improving, and spring is going fast.
