link (legend of zelda) and ike (fire emblem)- RPG style game samus (metroid) and fox (starfox)- scrolling shoot em' up and platformer samus (metroid) and bayonetta (SEGA) - hack and slash, shooting game mario and sonic- platformer where you can play as either mario or sonic either 1 or 2 player-mode kirby and legendary starfy or pikachu- kirby style platform game princess peach and amy (sonic) platformer
a pokemon platformer in general would be kind of interesting... I still wish we'd see Link and Zelda in Mario Kart someday, yes I know different universes, but I think it'd be permissable, we've seen Mario enemies in Zelda games, so...

Nah, still call it Mario Kart, would sell more than way and Nintendo Kart just sounds like a cheap knockoff of MK

I do recall the Mario clone Pokemon game that I had on my Gameboy Colour was indeed quite interesting. Don't think I ever got very far in it though... It was hard. D: I no longer have it though unfortunately.
