@WingedFish
Nice pink DS! And does that bird ever distract you from gaming? I know they can be pretty loud.

@LK9T9
Thanks! I seen you looking for friends to add for the WiiU. My NIN is in my signature, so go ahead and send a request. And I also have Sonic Racing, but I haven't even tried online yet.

@RoryLee Haha, thanks. I never use it though, since my 3DS can play DS games; but I do have a couple young friends that like to use the handhelds when they visit, so it is used.

As for the birds, the Cockatiel is almost silent apart from when you whistle to her she'll respond with a screech, but otherwise she's very reserved. The parakeet has his chatter fits (half the time in his sleep), but they aren't too loud. As for the Conure, for the most part he's quiet, but when you clatter dishes together, like say hit a bowl with a spoon, he goes into this screaming episode because he thinks it's another bird. XD But for the most part, I'm used to them. Plus it's always nice to have them by my side during gaming sessions.

Avian fact of the week: The Moa, an extinct relative of ostrichs and emus that inhabited New Zealand, was the tallest bird that ever lived at 12 ft tall (3.6 m). It was also the only known bird to have no wing structure.

@mudjo Judging by your avatar, you only have a Philip CD-i?

Revised Setup

I bought a Wii U and ended up moving my Wii into the bedroom and boxed up the N64. Everything is all black now in my gaming setup minus the NES and SNES

The wires visible in the background really annoy me. I'm going to try to hide them better when I find some time.

Have some totes full of games and some other systems in the closet. Just haven't gotten around to getting everything back out since we moved a few months back.

And hopefully I don't lose everything to all this crazy tornado stuff going on in Oklahoma right now.

Mine hasn't changed much either, except now the Wii has been boxed away and replaced by a Deluxe Wii U, which fits much better with the black stand it resides in then the white Wii did. That, and my game library has grown a little.

^ Aww, the GameCube is getting a piggyback back ride from the Wii U. That's cute.

I love these threads, not that I have anything spectacular to show off since my set up is pretty modest.

The PC is pretty mid range but it plays most new games at a stable frame rate. (3Ghz QC I5, 1Gb 560Ti, 8Gb RAM, you know, nothing special).
Slim PS3. I can't remember what the HDD is, I think it's 160Gb. I had an original 60Gb with backwards compatibility but it broke around 2010/11. I can't remember when exactly. There's also a PS2 stood up to the left of it but you can't see it the picture.
Old and busted xbox 360. It still works but I don't think I've turned it on since Skyrim came out. It's not even plugged in anymore.
The PSP hasn't been turned on in a while either. I have an original launch model too, somewhere.
32Gb WiiU with a 120Gb external HDD.
The 3DS is the newest edition.

That box in the bag under the Wii U is my Ni No Kuni collector's edition (that I'm waiting to sell).

I spent a lot of time explaining everything in my original post but I accidentally closed the window because I'm stupid and I'm too lazy to type everything again so I'm going to keep it shorter this time.

Picture 1 and 2: Setup at my table. Wii U gamepad, Alienware M11x laptop, 3DS, iPhone 3GS, Pro controller, Gamecube controller (that I use with Dolphin on my laptop), and Logitech X-530 surround speakers.

Untitled

Picture 3: Same table. as before, but a different angle. I keep a couple of my guitars to the right of me in case I hear a song in a game that I really like and I want to learn it! I also have a Pod HD 500 under my table (guitar FX processor), and an amplifier to the left of my table. Guitars are Peavey JF1-EX and Jay Turser JT-50 custom from left to right, and the amp is a Johnson JT50 modeling amp.
Untitled

Picture 4 and 5: Setup at the TV.65'' 1080p DLP TV. Wii U, Wii, another set of Logitech X-530 speakers but NOT set up in a surround sound configuration because my dog kept tripping over the cables! I also have a DDR mat on the floor because I've been playing a lot of In the Groove on my laptop (DDR-like game but MUCH better), and I'm getting a Cobalt Flux Dance pad soon because I've gotten really good at the game! When I hook my laptop up to the TV it fits perfectly right between the bottom edge of the TV and the top part of the stand (but it's not in this pic). I also have an HD PVR sitting on top of my cable box that hasn't really been used much recently. Back when I was like 14 I was like the rest of the mindless teenagers out there and made COD montages. I don't play COD anymore and I'm glad because it was ruining my life! HOWEVER, I actually got so good at editing those montages I make short films and submit them to film festivals now and plan to pursue a career in film when I'm older!

What I didn't include was the setup in my room because I'm too lazy and it's boring anyway. Just a PS3 and Xbox 360 that are collecting dust connected to my 42'' 1080p Sanyo LCD TV. The TV was a gift and it's AWESOME. Low latency, great quality, no overscan, it's just great. The TV is in my living room is good too (DLP TVs have very good image quality especially with lower resolution inputs, such as 480p), but it has overscan. And since it's already so big everything looks even BIGGER which can be annoying sometimes. Luckily the Wii U update allows me to change my screen size, however.

BY THE WAY, I'm 16 and getting a job is the best thing that's happened to me! I wouldn't have most of the stuff in the pictures if I didn't start working. I work as a locker attendant at my pool but I'm going to be a lifeguard in June when I turn 17 (because that's the minimum age limit).

Slightly old picture, but the only thing that's changed is a new double pedal for my drums and a new keyboard. Keep all my games and stuff in my closet.

Edit: guess I should tell you all what this crap is. Monitor/TV is a Samsung Syncmaster T24B350, Wii U is near the bottom right on the bottom of the desk, red 3DS on the left, PC has an AMD A8-3870k, Radeon 6950, 8GB ram at 1866mhz, stereo is a Logitech Z623 which I run my guitar (with amp modelling software called Amplitube) and drums through. Drum set is a Yamaha DTX520k, guitar is a crappy Ibanez Gio, decent humbucker though.

It's really cramped and annoying. Games are scattered about everywhere including the bottom of my wardrobe.

Need to get something to organise them better soon.

Nice pig. I don't think I could ever justify having that many monitors in one area Maybe I'll post a new picture of my setup later. It hasn't changed much from when I last posted, but it does look nicer, now.
