Topic: Pokemon wii u:good idea or bad idea?

I would love a Pokemon game that instead of turn based Gameplay, it's a fighting game.

I just don't see what the Wii U could bring to Pokemon that the Wii we have now can't. Maybe Pokemon Snap (There is a camera on the Wii U I think, but I'm not an expert on it, so...), but nothing else, really. What about a Pokemon Tower Defense game on the Wii U Shop? Other than that.. nothing. A Battle Revolution/Stadium game would be good, but I don't see what the Wii U would bring into the game.

What about a BIG world where you can travel through all 4 regions and capture all the pokémon in them. Also you'd be able to talk to real people inside the game, each one making their own adventure. Kinda like the series.

And not necessarily using the WiiU Gamepad (or not relying so much in it).

It would be awesome if they made a Pokemon trading card game for the Wii U. The TV would show all the Pokemon in play, the action and anything else on the field like items and stadium. The GamePad shows the cards in your hand and certain card effects like "search your deck for a basic Pokemon" in which you control both with the touch feature or buttons if you prefer.
You can play the game similar to the gbc version but with more free roaming and other updated features. Online play with other people is obvious and you can use the NFC feature to use your real life cards that is NFC compatible in-game.

This would make the Pokemon TCG more well known and draw a new crowd of players as well as bring back some old ones.

THIS! Also, I want a game like Pokemon Colosseum, except with the 3 member pokemon Battle systems.

I really want a 3D game like it as well. I don't know if the Wii U gamepad could bring anything, but I really want to see Orre or something like it again!

why? o.O i thought it was kinda interesting like shadow luigia looked cool but ok yeah it was annoying turning them back to normal but still i still have my shadow pkm in my diamond version

Good idea if they finally make a Pokemon RPG game in a 3D world.

As mentioned before, Pokemon Snap is the game that should especially be on Wii U.

If you could choose moves with your Wii U controller,then it would be a hit.

It doesn't batter if it's bad or good, it's mandatory, just like Mario games, you can't launch a new console without these games.

I loved the Shadow Pokemon. I thought it was cool how you had to raise their happiness to turn them back to normal. And then you got all the experience at once! Good times. Also loved their shadow moves.

Pokémon Snap is a given, and the only justification for Nintendo not doing it on the Wii U would be that they don't like money.

A Pokémon MMO set in an open 3D world with all in-game regions would also be immensely divine. But dreams, dreams.

A visual online Pokémon TCG would also be exemplary, sort of how Magic: The Gathering would play out; the GamePad's NFC capabilities are more than just a mere indication. Sharing boastful screenshots of your epic battle moves and rare Pokémon cards and also in-game tips/strategies would also be a noteworthy incorporation of Miiverse for the game.

I hope for another Stadium type of game that's a lot better than Revolution. I'd like it to have:

• A new player creator
• Ability to play B/W on the big screen in 3D.
• Loads of battle options (level 50 6v6 and such)
• Online 4 player tag battles
• More PWT types like battles against rivals in the series (Barry, Wally, May, Hugh) each with their own remixed themes. Maybe even battles against old team organizations like Team Rocket.

Well, if it was a Pokèmon Colosseum or Stadium, then maybe. If it was just a regular one like Diamond...NO

As long as its something nostalgic, like Pokemon Stadium. As for spin-offs, pleeeeeeeeeaaaaase make a new Pokemon Snap, Nintendo!

Why does it have to bring something completely new. how about just classic pokemon stadium with all pokemon, a good story, and use the game pad like you do on the ds. Inventory, bag, yada yada yada

I think it would be great. It should be based off the red and blue manga. If you haven't read it go now red is calling. The manga is more adultish( i won't spoil how because it spoils the plot a bit) It also is really long has several characters and a completely different story. They could do that and maybe be able to play as all those characters.

I want a new snap for 3DS or WiiU, and it should have all Pokemon and all forms
