And no. Unless Pokemon want to change something that will make the game interesting again, I'm fine with it staying where it is.
QUEEN OF SASS
It's like, I just love a cowboy
You know
I'm just like, I just, I know, it's bad
But I'm just like
Can I just like, hang off the back of your horse
And can you go a little faster?!
I think they'll need to focus on the 3DS for now, because it's forcing them to innovate or become irrelevant. Game Freak doesn't seem to have the resources yet to make a game with polygons, hence why we haven't seen a game in the main series on a console. RPGs on handhelds also tend to sell better in Japan for some reason, which is why we've been seeing games like Dragon Quest make the jump.
As for Pokemon Snap, Pokemon Pinball, or Pokemon Conquest... Yes. I would absolutely love to see these games in any form on any console, as it would practically guarantee a purchase of that console for me.
Main series? Wont happen. Spin-off? Yes! It's probably just a question of time before we get a 3D Pokemon game (evey gen before has had one). A new Snap or Conquest would be pretty cool.
A Pokemon Stadium sequel would be awesome, especially if they brought back the same modes and mini games as in the Nintendo 64 titles (alongside a Colosseum/XD style single player mode).
I'm going on record right now as saying you will see a Pokemon on the Wii U. Near Field Communication and the success of Skylanders will guarantee a Pokemon with either interactive cards or toys. There is supposed to be a big announcement on a must have game for Wii U, tomorrow according to IGN. It is supposedly a game changer for the system. If it isn't something along that line then it will be coming in the near future.
How about this? This new Pokemon game as a pack in to the extra game pad. It could come with figures or booster packs that worked with the NFC technology. This would allow two players in the same household to play against one another. Plus, you could take this online against your friends. It would be like printing money. Not to mention, you would have a whole new group to push the game too.
Something like Colosseum would be awesome, I loved that game. Same with Pokemon Snap, I can see that working well with the GamePad. In the main series, no.

Surely the Pokemon Company isn't that selfish!?
They want to make money. And it could be a fun thing if done right. (And i think Nintendo is the one to decide if this will happen since TPC only handles Pokemon related things outside the games.)
I have not played a pokemon game since Pokemon Leaf Green on the GBA. So I would welcome a Pokemon game on the Wii. Of if they would bring Pokemon Stadium for VC that would be nice.
