Updated my last post (#27), just so you all know...
I read it! hey everyone Ive been reading all your comments, I really enjoy this thread, feel like I'm learning alot. will keep watching thanks for posting.
The Wii VC is accessible on the Wii U. You won't be able to use the Gamepad though. You'll need a CC/CCP.
I'll need a wha?
Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro.
a wii u pro controller?
No, a Classic Controller or Classic Controller Pro. On my way to bed now, so google them if you want a visual.
classic controller pro is better than the original classic controller, and BOTH are for the wii, I looked it up and they say you have to have a wiimote with its two AAbatteries, and plug the CCP INTO the wiimote!?!? so the wiimote goes into the Wii U, and the CCP goes into the wiimote....
!?!?
this is insanity, what if the wiimote runs out of battery... does the CCP let you just automatically bluetooth to the Wii U so it can act as a Wii U pro controller for wii games that are played on the Wii U?!?
The Media/Vocal Consumers view on the Wii U. For some reason if the Wii U delivers the same Gameplay as the other consoles it is considered worst because of the possible GamePad features it could have used. If a game uses those features it is considered to be worst cause those features didn't need to be used for the gameplay experience.
People keep saying the Xbox One doesn't have Backwards Compatibility.
I don't think they know what Backwards Compatibility means...

My theory: evil shills and trolls and generally jealous haters don't want Nintendo to be successful because they are making some money by making actually fun games, nintendo fans are having alot of fun and other consoles can't even do that! so they are talking bad about nintendo because they KNOW how good it is, or they just don't realize. before I returned my PS4... I hade no idea how good the Wii U was. I was like "wii u? eh? nahhhh" but I was so so wrong.
Like:
-The games
-GBA games and Wii games on Virtual Console
-Off-TV play
-It has Earthbound.
-Miiverse
Dislike:
-There's this glitch on the internet browser where it just doesn't load at all.
-The lack of third-party games is a bit of a problem
-Meme Run is a thing
-What @Inkling said about the dark side of Miiverse.

I dislike the gamepad not being able to be completely disabled. (There is a trick to do it by powering on via the gamepad and then powering the gamepad off straight away but it is annoying).
“30fps Is Not a Good Artistic Decision, It's a Failure”
Freedom of the press is for those who happen to own one.
Aside from maybe Zelda Nintendo is yet to show us why the gamepad is necessary (there are actually some third party games that use it better than Nintendo ever has),
Nintendo has already shown the reason for the Gamepad with product like Pikmin 3, Captain Toad, Super Mario 3D World, NintendoLand, Wii Fit U, Wii U Party, Game & Wario and Pullblox World. In the case of 3D World, the Gamepad features might not be obvious to many players but they enhance the game quite a lot.
Like.... Nintendo still has its magic. Haven't been disappointed in a first party game yet, save maybe Game & Wario, which wasn't that bad. They pack a lot of value in their games/system. Their stance on DLC. Upcoming games. The gamepad
Dislike..... Lack of third party support. Would like to see SD card slot usable for storage.

I've had a lot of fun with Nintendo Land, Wii Party U and Wii Sports Club. I have 130 hours on MK8 and nearly 100 hours on Smash (combined).
I usually don't put more than 20 hours into a game.

I've probably been more disappointed with the Wii U's library than I've been with any other Nintendo system. And I don't even own one yet. That's pretty shameful.
I straight up disliked Hyrule Warriors and Mario 3D World. While I like Mario Kart 8 plenty, it's the first console entry in the series that really feels like a downgrade from the previous console entry. Yes, the HD is pretty and all, but the bike mechanics were nerfed, the roster is terrible, and the track designs aren't as good as MK Wii.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F

I'm disappointed that Mario Kart 8 doesn't have Boo as a playable racer. I'm shocked you didn't like Hyrule warriors? what did you not like about it? I personally didn't like the look or feel of mario 3d world (the one with mario as a cat) because it just didn't feel fun, I like the feeling of super mario galaxy better, but think it could have been better anyway also.
in more depth and detail why did you not like mario kart 8? was it... too easy? because if so I'm happy because the previous mario karts were too difficult for me to have alot of fun, the bikes were extremely difficult for me as well. but I did love the crazy race tracks and hope they are just as elaborate and insane.
are you looking forward to Zelda u and the majoras mask refresh, and what did you think of zelda windwaker hd?
