Has anyone tried it out yet? They are offering Wii U users a free subscription for a year if we sign on before Christmas Eve. Any thoughts or comments? I am planning on signing up when I get home tonight.

It's a waste of time. You really can't access the premium channels listed on Playon unless you have an active subscription on the specific channel (ex. Netflix). You need to put your account & password on each individual channels you subscribed. Besides that, you also need to run a Playon app on your PC that will stream wifi signal on the channel you're watching into your Wii U. Hence I got an active Netflix subscription, I tried it on Playon but the video quality is not that great. It's best just watching Netflix on the preinstalled Netflix app that comes with the Wii U. There's also no Playon app on the Wii U. What it does is for you to go to the Playon link using your Wii U browser & bookmark the link for easy access on your Wii U.
