AbeVigoda - Just wondering - why are you on a site called Nintendo Life? Because it's not only clear that you dislike Nintendo, it's also clear that you are annoying and quite possibly a troll. Do us all a favour and troll some other site instead, kay?
.
AbeVigoda is not trolling & does have a point. Come on man, you & your friends are 17 y.o. As I said before, you're all basically young adults. Not knowing what games to play on the library of mainly kiddie games that you have doesn't make any sense. You cannot impressed anyone (not even your friends) with that kind of games you have.

Kiddie games? Darksiders, Zombiu, and Injustice are kiddie games? Please enlighten me as to what you consider adult/mature titles.
Or don't. Go troll somewhere else with Abevigoda
Capt: you guys will have a blast. don't listen to the haters
@Brokenfang Thanks man, we will have a blast, and I always try to avoid listening to haters.
@Cheaptrick Really? Kiddie games? As Brokenfang said, Darksiders II, Zombi U, and Injustice: Gods Among Us are certainly not for children. Furthermore, although Nintendo Land and New Super Mario Bros. U are perfectly acceptable to play with children, that doesn't necessarily mean that they are "kiddie games". Kiddie games are games that have a target audience of 3-8 years, and mostly include educational games and licensed games based on early childhood television programs and movies. Are you seriously saying that Mario is "for kiddies"? Because if you are, I really don't understand why you're on Nintendo Life. Perhaps you'd have more fun bashing beloved Nintendo IPs for no reason on IGN.
@RikuzeYre Exactly! I'm sick of people claiming that all Nintendo does is pump out the same game over and over while Call of Duty is basically the same thing every time with more weapons, but we aren't allowed to complain about that.
Playing games whose main slash & hack characters look like spawn from hell or some kids super heroes fighting makes game like DOA Beach Volleyball looks hardcore. You might as well play GTA4, UFC Undisputed, Fight Night Champion & Madden 14 on PS3. You won't be able impress your friends with that kind of games you're planning on playing tomorrow. Don't get stuck with Mario. Your friends will definitely go with PS3 (even those two Nintendo gamers) with the kind of game you're showcasing.

I keep seeing the phrase "Kiddie Game". What does it mean? If you meant geared towards children, then you would have used the word 'Childish' or another equivalent. You must clearly mean something else by it, and what that is I have no idea.
Thanks given to Xkhaoz for that one avatar. Please contact me before using my custom avatar!

Are you KIDDING ME? I actually hope that you're a troll now. "Darksiders II" is a kiddie game because the main character looks like "spawn from hell". Injustice is a kiddie game because there are "Super heroes fighting"... Do you even realize how absurdly moronic you sound with statements like this? So, to you, the only games that will impress my friends are uber-realistic games with ZERO imagination. Let me tell you something bub - if I went to a friend's house and they plopped in UFC into their PS3, I would not only be unimpressed, but I would probably never go back to their house again. I honestly couldn't give less of a f**k about what games are considered "hardcore" or not by your pathetic standards for rating games. I don't know what kind of losers you hang out with, but I can guarantee that my friends would be more impressed with what I already have than ANY of the games that you mentioned. I scoff at your ideals, and I bid you to go find a site where you'll be more welcome. Perhaps (as I already mentioned) IGN will welcome you with open arms...
I don't have a Wii U, but as others have said, Nintendo Land, Tank! Tank! Tank!, and InJustice sound like good bets.
And c'mon, there's no reason your friends can't enjoy family oriented games. Everyone's a kid at heart, and it doesn't matter what game is being played as long as everyone's goofing off & having a fun time (the silly slapstick nature of family oriented games, can actually lend itself well to parties, for laughs).
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
LOL, I'm mainly giving you advice. You can play whatever you're planning to play. I guarantee you, your friends won't be impressed of the games you're planning to play. Take my advice.
Zombi U has awesome multiplayer but you'll have to take turns, 2 players max, but it's still pretty fun, nintendo land, and injustice would entertain people the longest, 2D Mario won't impress them, I highly recommend zombi U if you have patient enough friends to take turns, That games multiplayer impressed all of my friends that I've shown it to, they like it better than BLOPS Zombies

Not if you're bunch of 17 y.o. with raging hormones.
Black ops 2 for sure. I impressed two Xbox fans with that one and both said they wanted to get a wiiu as well. Also zombieu next to walking dead by telltale it is the best zombie game I've played in forever.
Yup, Black Ops 2 is a good choice.
Whoa whoa whoa. Why would you suggest this? Shouldn't you find out if his friends are "mainstream" or not? If they are, they can't play this game.
A person without a sense of humor is like a wagon without springs. It's jolted by every pebble on the road.
The fun you get from your friends arent defined by what you do (i.e the games you play whether it's Mario bros or UFC or COD), it's the fun you spend with your friends.
Was Mariobro4. No, I'm not taking off my backpack...it's important.

Looks like it's better if they watch movies on Netflix instead than playing.

LOL, are you trying to put your foot in my mouth?
No way, I'm just amazed you so flippantly suggest this "hardcore" game that "mainstream" gamers would have no fun playing. Don't assume these guys aren't "mainstream". In fact, chances are they are "mainstream" (it's right in the definition of the word). If there's one thing you've taught this forum, it's that COD can only be enjoyed by "hardcore, non-mainstream" gamers.
Don't set the poor guy up for disappointment!

Casual & mainstream have different meanings. Don't confused me with the two. You tried several times in the past associating casual & mainstream gaming in my posts. It's not going to work.
I'm glad you finally agree with me now. Now maybe you'll look back at that conversation and reflect a bit.
LOL. Look at my previous posts. I made a slip on my finger cuz you kept using the 2 words. I was talking to another gentleman about casual gaming & you're talking about mainsteam. My posts clearly reflects the difference between casual & mainstream. Read it in it's entire context before you put your foot in my mouth.
