I've not played these since I had the Amiga lol. Are there any for the wii u that keep/store hi scores?

Zen Pinball on the eShop.

If The Pinball Arcade would just release on Wii U already, then that would also be an excellent choice. Both The Pinball Arcade and Zen are excellent games, although both play very differently. (For example, I love games in The Pinball Arcade but I really don't enjoy Zen Pinball.)

Mario Pinball Land and Pokemon Pinball are also available on Virtual Console.

i think several of the zen tables, especiallystar wars are awesome. the marvel tables are okay, but a bit oversaturated. like i'm fine withe the five that i have.

I thought there were some Star Wars tables for Zen Pinball, but I did a search the other day and none came up. Have they been taken down, or was I dreaming in the first place?

Hmmm... I have six of them. Zen has said they are still releasing the last four. I got them on Xbone.

Need to get Zen Pinball. I read the tables purchase process was a bit convoluted so I haven't gotten it.

And I will definitely get Poképinball, as I have been waiting for the original since Nintendo announced Gameboy VC with the 3DS.

You have to download the demo of the table you want 1st and then purchase the table after.....It is a pain but not more then a few minutes worth of extra work. Now I'm trained to do it though so when I bought South Park I did it in the right order and didn't swear as much as I did the first few tables

Starwas Pinball is made by Zen, but those tables aren't part of Zen Pinball 2, go to the eShop and type pinball in the search bar, you'll find it.

I'm loving it I've been playing it all day, it's just a shame I can't put it on TV screen and have to use wii u pad screen but no other complaints.

I really have to get checking the pinball options, to find what I may/not like. While not the original poster, thanks for the info, NLifers!

I might have to take a look at the Star Wars ones, that doesn't look like their normal toy strewn mess.

I'm hoping since Farsight finally gets to the Wii U now that the XBOX version has been re-released. I think it's nice on my iPad, but I'd love to see it on the big screen!

Just a fair warning about any of the Zen Tables, they all have some type of online leader board bugs. Zen knows about them and several times have patched them only yo get different problems. I own every Zen table with the exception of the South Park ones as I don't want to support them.

The Star Wars tables have been known to freeze with online turned on to the point Its unplayable with online on.

The Zen Tables have a calculating bug that never posts your score to the leader boards. This is more hit or miss but I know a way around it for now. All tables can be enjoyed offline but posting scores can be tricky.

Might as well throw this out there. There are also some great pinball games available for 3DS. You have three different Zen games, I think each comes with four tables. Sadly, they haven't added any more as in-app purchases, but they're still good if you like Zen Pinball.

My personal favorite is Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon. (It's also available on the DSi Shop) It's only one table, but it's excellently done. The physics are great, the rule set is very deep so there's a lot to do, and there are plenty of voices, music tracks, and dot matrix animations to nicely top it all off. In my book, it's a must buy for a anyone who likes pinball.

There are two Virtual Console pinball games available, being Revenge of the Gator and Kirby's Pinball Land.

Finally, be sure to avoid 101 Pinball World like the plague.

You need to hold down on the touch screen and swipe the screen up to the tv. It's not really informative in telling you this but if you look you will find it. One more word of advice, make sure your tv is in game mode or there will be plenty of lag depending on the tv. I didn't realize this at first and the slight delay made it unplayable on my tv till I changed the settings.
