Topic: W/P Pikmin in Pikmin 3

I've been looking at some of the screenshots for pikmin 3. But I didn't see any of the purple pikmin or the white pikmin. Will they be returning, or are the rock pikmin replacing the purple pikmin? I really want to know! Thanks if you left an answer.

The current colors are sure to stay. I'm sure there will be other colors, too, but I didn't see any pink ones. At the end of the first(or second?), there was tons of different colored onions trying to follow Olimar back to Hoctate. That has nothing to do with the gameplay obviously, but it is interesting I suppose, for ones they could add...

they announced whit and purple would be in the game when they showed the first footage of the game at E3 2012. on Nintendos website the description clearly stated that the five original pikmin types would be returning. i dont get why everyone is making such a big deal if they are in the game. we all should have known this 8 months ago
