Confirmed by Corbie to be coming to WiiU.

What would you like to see implemented in it? Personally if it was a longer game, I would happy, but I wouldn't want them to remove the timed days.

...Map on the controller obviously...well, the entire HUD for that matter...seeing how great the graphics were on the GCN, this...game...better...look...REALISTIC. >_>

I would also like to see the return of co-op and making use of the WiiU tablet.

Maybe even a competitive multiplayer mode to collect the most objects or something. Making Pikmin attack other players and stuff. Sounds like fun.

I've been dreaming of seeing a Nighttime Mode...you know, play a level, but at night. Could even encounter a bizarre new enemy in the mode.

The Nintendo roundtable discussion (on IGN) just said that Pikmin is a WiiU title, and it's nearing completion.

Pikmin always had too much going on in too small a space. Having two giant screens will be perfect. And Pikmin belongs in HD. It's a pretty game already.

2-Player co-op!!!! I always felt like Pikmin 2 was a big miss because it had the potential to be a great co-op game.

I thought Pikmin 2's co-op was pretty well done. I'd like to see online multiplayer.

i dislike that rather than expanding with more areas, pikmin 2 had too much of the 'dungeons' which were a little challenging, but just boring and removes the whole visual aspect of pikmin
id love if we could scale trees in pikmin 3, walking around branches seeing the world underneath, itd provide a host of new enemies and mechanics, and could provide the more 'mini-dungeon' type challenges rather than the open world exploring and hunting for treasure in certain areas, without detracting from the visual aspect of the game

as for how i want them to integrate the controller, id like if the main screen was as it was in the first 2, but clear of all the HUD information, then the smaller screen shows a birds eye view of your cursor position for fighting and organizing etc., the mini screen would also have the HUD information across the top and sides, then you can move the cursor with the touch screen

Pikmin has so much potential with that new controller. I have a feeling the Wii U may be the opposite of the Wii in that it doesn't excite at first but it exceeds expectations. That's what I hope anyway.

As long as you can use the device as a pointer control to move the reticule around.
But ya, this controller would be insane for Pikmin 3, Miyomoto is probably cooking up some super creative ideas.

Anyways, A Pikmin 2 NPC release for the Wii would seriously make my day. sigh* Guess I'll have to resort to the GCN version.

Yeah sorry I should have been more specific. The Main Game is where I wanted Co-op Since I saw how good it could be on the real Co-op portion of the game. It just felt....like there really was some way to play Co-op on the main game but I could never find how to do it. IT NEED'S CO-OP ON THE MAIN GAME!!! Maybe between WiiU and 3DS??

I would have hoped Nintendo would celebrate Pikmin's 10th anniversary by bringing NPC Pikmin 2 this year...

I hope it'll be a sudden announcement.
