Really, nintendo wouldn't randomly deliver this kind of info exclusively to Walmart for no good reason.

It's has a 90% probability of being a mistake or fake.

Walmart probably just saw the rumour tweet and used that. Some people are thinking the person who made the tweet is the same person that said SMTxFE's cancellation announcement was going to be today.

This would probably be exciting if I didn't care significantly more about SMTxFE and a new Advance Wars.

So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

Super Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door are both great games. Sticker Star is... you know, meh, and Paper Mario 64 was good for it's time, but feels very dated when compared to the gamecube and wii installments with regards to both story and gameplay mechanics.

Though I was mistaken about Majora's Mask 3D at E3 I was eventually vindicated on that, so I'll predict that we'll see Paper Mario Wii U announced at the games awards 2014. Nintendo has to show something, after all. The target leak about Majora's Mask 3D was right, so this walmart leak could be as well.

Also, I'll say right now that if they release a Paper Mario with a good story for the Wii U I'll buy the system that day, I love this series' 2000-era games so much.

let's hope it is better than sticker star.

Wal-Mart isn't the most reliable source, so I won't get my hopes up.

My SD Card with the game on it is just as physical as your cartridge with the game on it.
I love Nintendo, that's why I criticize them so harshly.

Whats wrong with sticker star?

"I'll take a potato chip... AND EAT IT!"
Light Yagami, Death Note
"Ah, the Breakfast Club soundtrack! I can't wait 'til I'm old enough to feel ways about stuff!"

I mean, it's a decent game in its own right, but when compared with Super Paper Mario and The Thousand Year Door? Nah mate, just nah.

Salt at the ready! But seriously, I would love for this to be true. I loved the first three games, and Sticker Star I thought was...okay. It wasn't terrible, but it wasn't great, either.

There is nothing here...except for the stuff I just typed...

If it took you that long to defeat a Goomba, you were doing it wrong.

It's an approximation. Probably closer to a minute, but still way too long. And I mean one Goomba in the main world. Obviously, one becomes 2-4 in true RPG fashion.

Whats wrong with sticker star?

The stickers
The lack of story
The lack of anything fun

Sticker Star is a prime example of why a series should not experiment too much.

Hence why I said "too much"

If they want to experiment with a series, they should at least leave some of the appealing formula in the new game like ALbW did, but Sticker Star threw the formula out the window. To be honest, I've never been so bitter about a game like this since Final Fantasy XIII. I absolutely hated Sticker Star, even though it had some good moments. Overall it was a terrible game.

IDK... I see a lot of Nintendo fans dogging 3rd parties for anualizing their games, but Nintendo is just as guilty of this. While I would play this and probably enjoy it, I am tired of the same games for the past 3 generations. Mario Kart, Smash, Mario Land, New Mario, Paper Mario, etc. I want something new. Granted there's Splattoon, but that doesn't excite me toooo much

Except Nintendo doesn't annualize that much...if anything.

I fail to see how they are "just as guilty"

When did the meaning of annual ize change to mean once every generation?

I encourage you to look at this page to see how many new IPs Nintendo has actually created int he past 2 gens

Nintendo annualizes one franchise. Pokemon.

Annualize: to make annual. None of Nintendo's games are annual, except pokemon sometimes (and that's mostly the responsibility of the pokemon company). Since we only have 2 to 3 great paper mario games, none of those in the last 7+ years, I think we're far from over-saturation here.

Ok so I used the wrong word... My point still stands. I've been playing essentially the same games since Gamecube, with a few others here and there. They are great games still, but I don't get excited AT ALL anymore about any of them..

I'll believe it when I see it.

Luigi Mansion might be announced at E3. Lol it would be gorgeous on Wii U.

It might, but these retailer listings were popping up over a year ago and obviously have no connection to the real-deal if it eventually happens.

Just retailer speculation, it seems.

They could always have been told to remove them by Nintendo due to some NDA agreement or something. It's not impossible.

And hey, look at Majora's Mask 3D. Many places had listings for that, and it turned out to be real.

That's your fault. Nintendo has a plenty diverse lineup of 1st party offerings on the Wii and 3DS. If you only look for Mario and Zelda, you only gonna play Mario and Zelda. I could essentially make the same argument for Microsoft (not so much Sony because they like to drop franchises like they are hot every generation). I could say "it's always Halo with Microsoft, I'm tired of playing Halo every single generation. I want to see something new"
