@arronishere: was it released anywhere else? And with a generic 2016 release window, how long will it take Nintendo to localize the game?
Either way, my point is that the way the game was introduced and talked about makes it look like the game is still in a phase where things can be changed and what not. And that's why I'm not grabbing the pitchforks just yet (not that I ever did, but y'know).
God first.

Nope it's not released anywhere yet but you're focusing on the it's being localising part of what I've said and not the it's already very along in development part.
It's kinda hard to confirm that, don't you think? I can't confirm that either but I reckon if it was already far in development we could have gotten a more specific release date. But like I said, I can't confirm that (no, I'm not using a rumor as a basis), but Color Splash could very well be released in the Summer lol.

I wouldn't say correctly proven infomation is a rumour...
The correctly proven information is the fact that there's a Paper Mario game for the Wii U.

I'll forgive the useless gameplay (no need for fighting) if it has a good story. But after Paper Jam and Sticker Star, I'm expecting more of Bowser being the big bad, again.
But maybe they'll prove me wrong. I doubt it, with the Nintendo of the past year and a half, but there's always a chance.
@Vee_Flames: The game might even be finished by now. Nintendo doesn't automatically release a Wii U title just because it's finished. For some titles (MK8, Smash, Splatoon) the teams did work all the way up until the release date, but for other titles the titles just wait for a good release window.
@Chandlero: Of course, the game may still be bad even if they did speak, but it's one of many aspects of Sticker Star that I wanted to see improved in particular. It just doesn't make sense to leave characters like Bowser and Peach silent, especially after the witty dialogue they had in past games.
Bowser's adhesive tape from Sticker Star is back, so Bowser is the villain yet again. I could be wrong and he may be silent again too, but I hope not. Since Peach is shown with Mario at the beginning, I assume she has a speaking role again.
Also similar to Epic Mickey, in that you "complete" parts of the world by painting them. Or in EM's case, also choosing to destroy them. It was kind of fun, so I don't knock Nintendo doing their own version.
It could be a just be a bad trailer for a good game, but is it not bizarre to you that the art design is IDENTICAL to Sticker Star? All the Paper Mario games are well, paper, but PM, PM:TTYD, and SPM each have their own unique art design elements.
If you mean that it actually looks like paper now? Then sure, it does. And it's the second in the series that looks like paper. I don't think that's necessarily a bad omen. Yarn yoshi and Kirby both looked like yarn but that didn't make them the same game.

"Don't stir the pot" is a nice way of saying "they're too dumb to reason with"
Yep, pretty much sums it up. You could also do one for Paper Jam/ Sticker Star with all the generic worlds versus Super's and TYD's actually interesting environments.
My Reaction
- See the Game
- See the New Stuff
- See that it's not a Mario RPG and it's action-adventure
oh well, I'll give it a try, like the graphics though.
(now that we have an Paper Mario game, can we please have an Animal Crossing (Main) on Wii U next?)
