Call me the eternal optimist, but could it be that Nintendo of America is saving Xenoblade, Last Story and Pandora's Tower to beef up the Wii U launch lineup?
Or how about a full remake of MOTHER and MOTHER 2 on WiiU?
Earthbound Zero was pretty much done but they didn't want to release it because they thought it was too late. And they had advertisement ready D:
Anyhow, I'm thinking what pixelman is thinking- saving those games for next year because there really is nothing, it seems, for next year. You have a few Wii games to play (just not like last year...)
I think it's more likely that they're saving them for the Wii drought next year.
no, THIS year is 2011.
oh you're implying it's gonna get worse
oh god
Right now Airport Mania is quite legitimately in the running for the best Wii game of the year for me. I'm kinda hoping that changes in the second half.

No
Why would they?

Yeah, 2011 has been pretty bad for the Wii so far. A shame since it had a pretty great 2010.
For once I'll agree with you, 2010 was the wii's best year and this is probably its worst.
@Nintendo6400 I highly doubt they would put these all one disc. You rarely see that done to three games that aren't in the same series. They may all be action-jrpgs published by nintendo on the wii but apart from that they are all very different games. Xenoblade chronicles is the only one of the three with an overworld, there is only one playable character in Pandora's tower unlike the other two, The last story is the most action focused of the three and there are many other things that set each of them apart.
Xenoblade, The Last Story and (possibly) Pandora's Tower will be released in the first half of 2012 here in the states.
Source? You don't need it. All you need to do is look ahead and see that there seems to be nothing set for Wii next year- besides DQX. And it makes sense to have those games out for early next year, so.. It all falls into place :3

This is about as believable as that post by Operation Rainfall

of these three titles, I think Last Story looks the best.
Nintendo is just being silly about this, I just think its possible for another publisher to pick them up. Xseed is always awesome when it comes to games nearly never seeing western consumers.

Well were getting a new Zelda, a new Kirby, and a new Mario Party. So it isn't THAT bad.
I compare this to the GameCube's disappointing drought of 2005...
GCN had multi-console games, big difference. And while I love Wii having so many exclusives...yeah...
DK: Jungle Beat being one of the best GCN games and RE4 being one of the best games perhaps ever helped. Star Fox Assault also has some fans for reasons outside of the music and Arwing levels for some reason too.
plus everyone was too busy in the summer playing their new handheld instead of playing their old handheld that still is getting better sales
