NSMBU only has 5 levels?

In terms of in improved map multiple generations later, yeah. Naturally it doesn't graphics wise. I'm talking about details, like the curves in the road, the little dots representing the level, and objects scattered around the map. Plus the known fact that it's one integrated world map. I'm just talking about similarities beyond graphics. Perhaps my choice of the entire SMW map wasn't best for the example. I don't think the criticism is necessary. I was just making an example.

Good point @FluttershyGuy, this games seems to take a lot from Super Mario World. Which is great IMO as it was my favorite 2D Mario game.

I wish the NSMB.U map looked more like the SMW map. Not as in shape etc. But the SMW map looks more 'connected' between areas.

The NSMB.U map just magically shifts over from Ice to Forrest to desert etc. etc. Without any real connection. The SMW map looks a lot better.

@19Robb92 How many times have you seen a forest suddenly turn into a chocolate wasteland? (never thought I would use the words "chocolate" and "wasteland" in the same sentence )

Oh my... AMAZING! I am being surprised every single time a new trailer comes out. The new Toad item house idea looks great too! This game is looking better and better, certainly more so then I first anticipated. Sure it is yet another rehash, but it does look quite a bit more different, definitely more so then NSMB2

I think that if they have an option to make your own levels and then show them off in miiverse it would show how easy things are to make using the gamepad and it would really hook people into using miiverse. What do you guys think?

Well okay, not really a rehash (I'm trying to balance myself on how I take this game).

I'm hoping the game will be longer than NSMBWii, they're going for the Super Mario World approach so I'm hoping the game will be huge.

Getting a huge deja vu moment, with some killer third party (even if they are ports) ready it feels like the SNES era all over again, it's really psyching me out.

I didn't like the Wii or DS version and I don't have a 3DS.. But for some reason.. I'm excited for this title? Let's not question it, things look different, who knows it might even be the next SMW!
