Nintendo has worked out a deal with Microsoft to allow Rare's back catalog to be on the virtual console.
Ah, I'm just kidding. I imagine this month's direct will be about the upcoming games for the holiday season. They probably won't focus much on next year's games until December or January.
Question is when is the right time to announce new games. I really do not want to sit here and wait like a year or two after a big game was announced. It really ruins my excitement for it.
Current games: Everything on Switch
Switch Friend Code: SW-5075-7879-0008 | My Nintendo: LzWinky | Nintendo Network ID: LzWinky
Yeah, I believe they'll just focus on the games they'll have set up for the Christmas season, and it won't be big.
A Link Between Worlds (3DS)
Super Mario 3D World (Wii U)
Mario Party: Island Tour (3DS)
Wii Fit U (Wii U)
They may also give a mention to some high profile eShop games they have releasing around the time, like the Sega 3D Range, Shantae: Pirate's Curse, & Senran Kagura Burst.
If there's anything new, it'll probably just be a Smash character reveal or something.
Currently Playing:
Switch - Blade Strangers
PS4 - Kingdom Hearts III, Tetris Effect (VR)
I don't think they'll talk about A Link Between Worlds much more as they've already revealed quite a lot on that game. Same goes with Mario, although on that front they may show us more details on the Toad levels.
I think as a treat they'll tease us with something new which I think will either be,
A) Yoshi Yarn trailer
B) A new trailer for Kart, Smash or Bayonetta
C) A very vague hint about the new Zelda game, maybe some art work.
D) New trailers for Mario Golf or Yoshi's Island 2.
I can't think of anything else. Maybe more Donkey Kong info?
unfortunately i guess they will show us everything we already know, just with some new trailers or release dates...
they are focussing on holiday sales, so they're gonna praise the poopiedoodocacapoopsiedoodles out of the already announced titles. maybe we'll get some new games in the december direct or in january... Watch the profanity please — TBD

There are too many games on their schedule as is, we don't need a new announcement every month. Wait for about half of them to realease/ get near release, and odds are you'll see some new games come out into the light.
