With Super Mario 3D World and Legend of Zelda a Link Between Worlds launching the same day on top of the Xbox One. How do you think stores with a midnight launch for the Xbox One will act towards those who are only there for Super Mario and Zelda 3DS?
That's actually an interesting question. I often wondered what happens in a scenario like that.
<Guy gets to the front of the line.>
"Here's your Xbox One! Congratulations!"
<Guy looks puzzled>
"Uhm ... actually, I'm here for Zelda."
<Awkward silence ... ?>
They'll probably just act like normal people and then laugh at you on the inside. I didn't even think about going to get Zelda at midnight.. but that does sound kind of tempting now. By "they" I mean the people who are there for Xbox One, not the people who run the stores.
I don't think the games would be on the floor yet.Also, you'd probably have to be waiting in a super long line overnight to encounter said situation. For a game that likely won't be unpacked yet.
