Topic: Noticed that Street Fighter Alpha 2 is trending on the WiiU menu.

Will this be an indication that WiiU owners are itching for some fighting games? Would this also mean that there's enough general interest to entice Game Developers/Nintendo to release more Virtual Console Fighting games like King of Fighters or Art of Fighting to WiiU virtual console?
I'd like to know your thoughts, I just know that whatever pops up on Wara Wara Plaza or whatever that Main Menu is called it means that game is trending right now on Miiverse or that's what people with WiiUs are playing.

If it's on the Wii U menu it's because it's new.

the main fighting game I'd want (other than the too obvious to mention already gonna be on Wii U game) would be Skull Girls

or Soul Calibur 2 HD

or Divekick because **** your combos

Not everything New hits the Main Menu though. Scram Kitty or that Squid Game aren't up there for example.

I am only interested in Neo Geo AES or Arcade versions. Or maybe stuff like SF2 HD Remix or Dreamcast Streetfighter 3rd Strike / Gamecube - Capcom vs SNK 2.

I would prefer to use an arcade stick as well but I won't get one for one game.

I have had Scram Kitty in that menu for at least a week. Don't know how it works, though.

Well if Pokken turns out to be a real thing we may have a great exclusive fighting game on the wii u. I also recently bought 2 wii/wii u arcade sticks to play tekken tag 2, TVC, KoF collection, Samurai showdown anthology and shortly after Pokken was trade marked in europe so it looks like it may actually happen and I am glad I got the sticks at such a cheap price I managed to pick up a Tekken tag 2 stick for $50 which is a steal considering that stick has all japanese sanwa parts.

Fit Music is currently on mine.... I have come to the conclusion that the Wara Wara Plaza is beyond my level of comprehension. Granted, I would love some more fighting games, but I think Tekken Tag 2 will stay my fighting game of choice on Wii U if the next Tekken game doesn't come to the console. Which I sorta doubt it will. Unless of course Pokken happens.
