........damn dood, why not rip out campaign levels out of the game next!

What about Black Ops 2? Didn't they have a different bundle than that? I mean, Tryarch are some big company that makes good COD games. Shame that a small team of them worked on Black Ops 2 and Ghosts on Wii U since we got Nuketown and then Die Rise.

Most CoD games have had the standard edition; a "hardened edition" which generally included a steelbook case, some kind of season pass and in the case of MW3 some physical goods; and a very expensive 3rd edition which includes some physical version of a killstreak reward (e.g. RC car in Black Ops, MQ-27 Dragonfire in Black Ops 2). I think only standard editions were present for Nintendo consoles.

the least Nintendo could do is to announce something Advance Wars related as a "response" to this, everyone knows the fans love big plays with over the tops reactions.

This is really bad news. I purchased Ghosts on Wii U just to show support for the system. Oh well.

I'm still amazed this game is not coming cause we gotten all the cod every year. And now there gone?It just shows you how bad the third party support is, and the thing that pisses me off nintendo doesn't care. They don't care about the fans that actually believed them that third party is coming back too the wiiu.

Nintendo has nothing to do with that. If 3d parties doesn't want to make games for them, they wont. They can't go and buy every franchise out there like MS or even Sony. Or what do you want them to do? make the games for them?

People should wake up and stop defending 3d parties like if they were poor old souls. They will never make games for Nintendo consoles. Ever. With the Wii they blame it on the non-HD crap even with a HUGE userbase. Now that they have the technology they blame the usebase, which is stupid because XB1 is much lower and expensive.

I would love to see variety on my nintendo console but i cannot side with 3d parties when they treat us like garbage and make a tantrum. I cannot. And you shouldn't either.

As sad as this is (and it is sad, the Wii U has the weakest 3rd party support of any Nintendo console barring the Virtual Boy) , I don't think there is much that Nintendo can do to reverse the 3rd party situation on Wii U. They can only hope to fix things for their next console. Until then, they need to put 1st and 2nd party teams at full throttle to give the Wii U owners a helluva ride. I don't really care about COD, give me more Splatoons.

How is Nintendo going to fix things next console? Buy a customer a 3rd party game for every 1st party game the Nintendo fan buys??? It's not Nintendo's fault, it's Nintendo demographic.

It's Nintendo's fault that they have their current demographic. If they want a different demographic then they need to cultivate it through vastly different types of 1st party games.

And then alienate their own demographic that they have spent years creating?

At this point I've given up on Nintendo for 3rd party games. Now bring me Gran Turismo 7, Gundam and a new Ace Combat game then you'll have my 400 dollars Sony.

I feel bad for the Wii U. It's finally gaining momentum and all these negative press from 3rd party devs are certainly going to affect the sales. Lets see how Nintendo is going to fill in the holes lefted behind by the 3rd parties.

@minotaurgamer I'm not defending third party support, all i said it shows how the third party situation is for nintendo and i know third party treat wiiu owners like garbage.

That's pretty disappointing, but I'm sure Activision will have an official statement soon. GG pointer controls, you will be missed. In reality though call of duty 4 skipped wii and the year after world at war was ported to it so perhaps this is a similar situation.

People still care about Call of Duty games?

If Wii U owners really need to play one they have choice of Black Ops 2 (God, that was awful) or Ghosts. It's the same basic formula year in, year out.

I think a question we need to be asking, is whether CoD is all Activision can do. It doesn't matter which side of the discussion you're on. If you don't like CoD, then you are the problem, because then they don't sell you games.. If you do like CoD, you are part of the problem, because then 3rd parties continue to milk those games. Either way, no one wins.

Does anyone remember when Ubisoft and Activision didn't make these franchises? As much as I welcome a new CoD or AC game for all who enjoy them, we also can't really accept that that's all they make anymore. Even Nintendo is getting games like Devil's Third and Bayonetta 2. There HAS to be something 3rd parties can release besides AC and CoD.

I also get that they release Just Dance and Skylanders, but is that really what people want from this generation; a yearly entry and that's it? Things didn't always used to be like this.

Actually still believe it will come. Treyarch wouldn't say they are working on it if they were, but they could still be. Or someone else is doing the port. Either way, those recently added maps to the previous Wii U COD games must mean something. I'd doubt they'd bother if it wasn't for building hype and interest for the new game.

But Treyarch isn't working on Advanced Warfare, Sledgehammer Games are.

Why wouldn't Tryarch say they were working on it if they were? Why hide it?

And those DLC maps were probably sitting on a hard drive at the office for months and they finally thought "hey, let's throw these guys a bone and put these online". It's hardly an indicator that the new COD game, made by a completely different studio, is going to secretly come to the Wii U.

You are grasping at straws here. The game isnt't coming out.

I'm willing to bet money that Splatoon gets reviewed better than COD: Advanced Warfare from numerous review sites. I still sorta hate we aren't getting COD, though. But its whatever.

I own a Wii U and 3DS. I also own a PS4!
