people have pleaded with nintendo for years about being more open and social with their online experience. personally i think miiverse is amazing and measures can be but in place to control it better but i'm afraid it will always have some idiots. if want a wider online experience its put up and shut up otherwise leave it alone and use it just like a wii. personally i chose put up and shut up.

True, but it's also generally against the law for someone to go around displaying theirs in public for the sole sake of being as obnoxious as possible, especially when minors are involved.

If I want to look at them I can surely go and find some to look at. Children (and adults with the brains of children) doing it for attention on a family-friendly social network is, well, pathetic.

earlier this week, i came across a post on the NSMBU community. it said;
"Who doesn't like the squirrel suit?"
some people commented that they preferred the cape from Super Maio World over the squirrel suit. many people commented about that. then, someone (i don't want to reveal his name) said he had never played SMW, but he "would bet all he had that the cape sucked." then he went on saying the caped sucked. i told him that if he had never even heard of the cape, seen it in action, or used it, his judgement towards it was useless. he raged, and started acting even more immature. then, he "dared me to report him", so i told him i wouldn't unless he broke the miiverse code of conduct, and that he really shouldn't try to push his limits. i then proceeded to block him, because i thought his comments wouldn't appear in my notifications once done. it failed. after about a week, he (guess what?) broke the code of conduct. called me swears words, threatened me, and drew explicit pictures. so, i (obviously) reported his comments, then i viewed his profile and he said he was only 9-years-old in his description. "as of 2012", it said. so, i reported him, because you must be at least 13 to have a Nintendo Account ID.
well, that's my experience, anyways

because i don't want my great-great-great grand-daughter looking at those, especially i she has no idea what she's looking at.

Yeah, Nintendo needs to do something about the trolls. I haven't benn reportiing though. Let us war with the trolls and take back our MiiVerse.
