I just saw the F-Zero minigame. It's soooo sloooooow. Same with that Zelda mini-game - it's like a slower version of sword quest. They better not make very mini-game this slow.

Not sure if everyone's already said this, but:
My idea is that Nintendoland should be pack-in with additional DLC minigames which would cost a few dollars a piece.
I'm not paying 50€ for it, if it's not pack-in.

A recent and highly plausible set of rumors state it as a Pack-in.

Sheesh... I mean, it's at least worth like $20. It looks like it could be quite fun.

My philosophy is pretty simple: Life's to short to play minigames.

You can say life's too short to be wasting away playing Video Games, but hey, tell that to everyone here. (Including me)

Still, I see what you mean.

Na, I don't hate any game or type of game. I just don't play the Wario Ware's,Mario Party's, and Nintendo Land's of the world.

Oh, now don't get it twisted Ty, I play video games and have way more than enough to drive my wife nuts. I probably only play video games around 5 hours a week though and I don't want to spend that time with the likes of Donkey Kong’s Crash Course.

Seems like a mini game would be perfect for that amount of time.

@Kyloctopus: You are right, I don't. In fact, I think people spend to much time on their phones but that is another discussion.

  • So let's get back on the topic of*Nintendo Land.* Are you guys/gals going to play Nintendo Land (assuming it is a pack-in game) or another when you first set up your Wii U? ?

@Ryno
Depends what I pick up.

Wait, no it doesn't. I'll get to it, but after I at least try out any of the games I get (Pikmin, ZombiU, Rayman, Mass Effect, or Batman)

What's an I-phone? I still use Cans and strings. lol
I've got zero interest in any of those I Phone games. I definitly agree Ryno, far too many people spend way too much time on their phones....Since they do, well everything. :p As for life being too short for Minigames, I'll agree with that as far as Mario Party goes. .Never cared for that franchise. WarioWare though is just too awesome to pass up and Nintendo Land looks to be fantastic. So while i generally pass on minigame fiesto's(WarioWare aside), a Nintendo Land theme park filled with games based on our favorite franchises and the like seems all too appealing coupled with the killer possibilities of the Wii U gamepad. B-) It's a Pack in, on a new console, in HD, the works....I can't help but be excited hehe.

But ya, what's your stance on the new Batman RynoIcarus? The only reason I'd give it a shot on the Wii U, is because of the added GamePad screen elements like using the Gamepad's screen as batman's utility belt and the like. But I've got to be honest 3D beat em ups do absolutely nothing for me... Give me Double D and TMNT II and I'm good to go! :p

Difference is: Wii Sports Resort was an amazing stand-alone game that had sooo much to do compared to the pack-in Wii Sports. I have a faint feeling Nintendoland may be a pack-in because it really demonstrates the neat uses of the WiiU Gamepad.

The hilarious thing is the gamepad is such a step down in a lot of ways compared to the wii remote plus as far as immitating weapons such as a sword, gun, hammer, bat, golf club, anything basically. If we get another Wii Sports they have to support the wii remote plus. SwordPlay was just unreal! All sorts of possibilities stirred up in my mind at that point. Like a first person-ish 'StarWars light saber Vs' game for example, which crazy enough never came to be on the Wii...

Apparently, there's different challenges and modes for these mini-games. I'm guessing the higher the difficulty, the more fast paced they'd become.

Well Well, looks like an entreily new rendition of Wii Sports Resorts 'Sword Play' with Zelda(thank god) being the theme this time around. And for me, that right there has me completely sold. :p SwordPlay was incredible in Wii Sports Resort, another example of a revolution in gameplay controls all thanks to the 1:1 controls of the Wii remote plus. Hopefully we'll be seeing a 'Vs' mode of this in nintendo Land instead of 'just' the showdown inspired stages seen above in the video. Man, I'm about to scream Ninji's! :o :D
