That said, 1 thing still urks me is the battle cries in Pokémon...... Why Nintnedo, must you continously suffocate us with the outdated, midi sounding battle cries as opposed to what's most natural sounding form them as the cartoon series expresses?? Seriously, get with the times already!

Because Alakazam sounds way cooler when it's hissing rather than just saying "Kazam!".

@DaveGX what!? I wouldn't want to constantly here "Pika" every time I went into battle.... I prefer the cries they already have... I like how chatot is the only one who says it's name... And it fits since its a mimicing bird. Well it says it's Japanese name "Parapu"

Mii Shooting sounds lame. I'd much prefer if they're seriously doing this, that they give us a pack bringing back the old light gun games in revamped gameplay format for Wii U; Duck Hunt, Hogan's Alley, Wild Gunman...

Well, the option of a package with duck hunt and company could be way to awezone, but a Mii Shooting with a hilarious tematic like a paint ball park looks very promising. Ahhh, and online.

Mii shooting is probably the game from the first Wii U video where the zapper is hooked up to on the Wii U gamepad.

@Nibelilt and @Hokuri Well, aside from them from saying their names most times as opposed to having a realistic cry, think what real animals sound like; Whether they're hurt, fleeing because they're too small/scared to defend themselves, or would most likely stand their ground, defend themselves or their honor or whatever and let us know they mean business. Or how about this as an example... Do you have any pets, cats maybe? I have a few, 1 of which, cries quite a bit (often at night while I'm sleeping when I'd rather not hear him) when he wants something whether he's hungry, wants to be petted, also because they're depandant on us..... That's life. It only makes sense they have natural sounding cries vs midi sounds that sound like a broken/defective computer dial-up modem when it's no longer necessary. Just saying.

I see the rediculous pre-E3 rumors are starting early this year. Yawn. Most of this is likely just filler. And Mii Shooting? Really? I'd honestly be worried if there was even a chance that was true.

Those games sound neat, but where is METROID? I seem to be the only one who knows how cool gamepad usage will be for it. No stress while aiming with the gamepad, touchscreen scanning, and a control scheme similar to that of Metroid Blast on Nintendo Land (The gunship). Zelda wii U is something I am also looking forward to. Though according to Zelda Dungeon it doesn't release until Holiday of 2014! Mario Kart Wii U sounds neat. I've always liked racing games. Mario Kart 7 is very fun. I even liked the Sonic and Sega All-Stars Racing Transformed demo. I love the sound of all these, though I may not hit the link while I am without knowledge if it is kid friendly or not.

what they NEED to be working on is that GOD DAMN METROID PRIME 4!!!!!!

Yes thanks though I wouldn't use language in agreement... WHERE IS METROID PRIME 4?

Meh....no Metroid Prime 4. They already released the trilogy for Wii anyway. I'd much rather find ut what happens to Samus with a Fusion sequel... Maybe there wil be new threats, or if not a Fusion sequel maybe there are other untold missions. Perhaps an origins game....

I think people mean prime 4 in name only. It doesn't have to take place directly after the prime series but that style of gameplay.

Don't think Retro is working on a donkey Kong game. They said it was something everyone wanted. not sure if Donkey Kong fits into that wheelhouse.

Isn't Heal working on smash Bros?

Really hoping the next Kirby Game is in 3D. I just wonder how that might work.

Maybe there could be a remake of Fusion, since that was kind of a big step in the storyline, but I'm sure there's a lot of people that are in to Metroid now that don't know that story. I assume that's why none of the console Metroid games ever took place after Fusion.

Why would they consider a remake? Nothing's wrong with the version they made. Besides, chronologically Fusion is the last 1. Aside from that, Retro Studios....I'm not sure whether or not they have any ties to f-Zero,and if so I couldn't imagine them doinga whole lot different with it. or, if it's "something everybody wanted", I still have my doubts about Killer Instinct 3 because of the entire mess with Microsoft and Rare, factoring in Nintendo holding the license.

I don't know, all i know is that bandai namco are working on it. I don't think ti will be disclosed since it has been conformed just doesn't have a name.

As I think a few others have said here before, I really wish they would give old IPs a look, similar to KI being brought back(and amazing at that) on the 3DS. I would definitely look forward to something like a new, deep Ice Climbers adventure; Hell, we got them brought up to speed, looks wise, with the Smash Bros series so why can't they have some new games of their own? This is just one example at that.

Just like I said, to catch people up to the story. If they do a game that takes place after Fusion, then people won't understand why Samus is part Metroid. Although, I guess they could just do an opening cinematic recapping that, sort of like how Other M recapped the ending to Super Metroid.

Nintendo is among the last people who care if everyone knows what happens in every single game of their series, they would not bother with this for the sake of story, like, ever.

Also if you need to completely remake a game just so the next game makes sense to newer players, you're doing it wrong.
