Topic: Nintendo Wii-U Pro Controller fake?!

You don't even need the usb.

Mine is real and I am pretty sure the cable is black, not grey. I'll check again. I'm sure it's not fake because it was part of the Zombi U bundle and checks out.

So the cable color is not a giveaway. The giveaway in the examples given was the typo in "this dvice complies" though.

But do you have a normal USB cable with USB-logos on it or du you have anywhere a nintendo logo?

I just get the second controller in white (was in the "queue" because the hadn't it on stock I think).

The buttons work smoother and more equal, the cable is now grey and more "thick" than the other one, even more long. It also has a little arrow on the cable at the place where you connect it to the controller.

Now I'm totally confused...
What do you guys think?

No Nintendo-logo on both cables, but the grey one looks a lot more like from Nintendo. The Logo on the backside is also not as "thin"-written as the black one.
The metallic screw on the back is on both controllers!

Is there someone who own both colors and has also different equippment for it?
The black one is totally a fake, but I'm really not sure if I should hold the white.

I called Nintendo and they said they'd have to look over it for a statement. Wtf... who would send them a fake controller to check it? It's way more easy to just send it back to the seller instead of sending it to nintendo to "look over it". Maybe they would hold it because it's an illegal product, then the controller AND the money would be away. lol

Wait, WHAT? It's possible to get a FAKE Wii U Pro Controller? If I am gonna get one for Smash...I need to avoid this.

You can already use the Pro controller on PC if you have bluetooth. Look up WiinUPro.
If you don't, there's a wireless USB adapter you can order from Mayflash that allows you to hook up to four pro controllers to your PC (no Toshiba bluetooth stack/other weird software needed!)

I know this thread is way outdated, but I wished to point out that... it is fake like a hell.

You can notice, on the back label, the misspelled term "Dvice" (there is missing a 'e') in place of "Device" you can read on the back of the legit one. This adds to the silver screw and to the black cable.

I think they figured it out by now.
