Topic: Nintendo rebranding Wiiu as Wii U?

On the official Nintendo company Wii U homepage it looks like the Wii U name is changing from the arty superscript u to just a plain old capital U.

It's time for Wii U™

Notice the "TM" next to the U?

If you look further down the page he Wii U spotlight games all have a capital U where below in the Show me games that are ... section the superscript u is still being used.

I know it isn't the name change a lot of people have been clamoring for, but I think it could help w/ the marketing and brand confusion between the Wii and Wii U if the U is made so obvious.

So, am I imagining things or is Nintendo finally trying to market the U?

I'm sorry but you're imagining things. You are looking at a piece of text "It's time for Wii U™" in a standard font and comparing it to a picture, ie. the official logo.

Nintendo has always used a capital U. The only time I've noticed the fancy U is on box art.
