Lol @ PopCap suggestion. Yes I'm sure EA will give that up with ease.
Ganbarion, I guess you guys want more Wii Fit U. Tbh that could use a "Resort" style update soon anyway, maybe make the WFT amiibo work with it somehow.
Level 5 is one of the better suggestions on here. L5, Retro and Platinum are like the ones... throw Ganbarion on top for shishes and gaggles.
Okay well I was saying in suggestion to the topic if they HAD to buy some, those are the ones they should aim for. I'm not saying they HAVE to. Way to single me out.
And Lol, Level 5 so cooperative skips 3DS for 2 of the biggest games they had in exchange for mobile

oops lol dunno how that dumb gif got posted...
3rd parties don't need to be exclusive to any platform to be cooperative. Nintendo has a great relationship with all of the companies you mention. None of them would hesitate to work with Nintendo again in the future.
So Anakin kneels before Monster Mash and pledges his loyalty to the graveyard smash.

I said PopCap was off limits for them, mainly due to EA. Same with Black Box.
Ganbarion would be a good partner because of Pandora's Tower. The development of that game was very "un-Nintendo" (it's a gothic, story driven action RPG that relies on implicit storytelling) so it could give Ninty some diversity.
Currently Playing: Steamworld Heist, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask, Tales of Graces F
they should partner with inde devs. thats the future anyway.
I've said this repeatedly. And I'm gonna keep on saying it until someone from Nintendo sees it and responds. Nintendo missed out on very opportune partnerships by not signing exclusivity deals with Shovel Knight and Steamworld Dig devs.
Both games were huge hits and both were clearly developed with a huge pro-Nintendo bias. The amount they would've had to pay these guys to remain exclusive would've probably been quite small.
Yes, like if people would buy a WiiU just for Shovel Knight or Steamworld Dig... Steam has 0 partnership with indie developers, yet indie games sell way better on Steam than on consoles
Of all the problems of the WiiU, first party software ITS HARDLY ONE OF THEM. Buying studios (or creating them) would be cool, but i doubt it would fix the problems of the WiiU, 3rd party software its the problem. Not to mentio, what if you buy X studio and the people then leave it ? you are back on Square 1, with a lot of less money, its not easy to just go and buy a studio, research needs to be made, people willing to work only for you and not leave right away...
You need 3rd party heavy hitters, they are super important.
I would like to see them team with Insomniac. Nintendo is the only one of the Big 3 Insomniac haven't partnered with yet and Nintendo could really use the breath of fresh air Insomniac would offer.
This is unlikely since insomniac doesn't give two cents about nintendo. Remember this?
