Topic: Nintendo needs to release a revised, slightly smaller gamepad.

I understand that they could probably make it smaller, but the screen would be small as hell, and most people wouldn't like that in exchange foir a smaller controller. The OP is asking for a GamePad that would be comparable in size to the Pro controller, but the way it is now is already how that is. The screen is the only thing making it as big as it is, so you might as well just not use the GamePad. Now we have people asking for a 3DS GamePad, which makes even less sense. They might as well let 3DS do remote play with that suggestion.

The way I would imagine a smaller GamePad, is that it would look like a dualshock 4, except the screen is about the size of an iPhone 4 or 5. The screen is supposed to be larger, so that you can make quick touch commands, or take a quick glance at something. I personally think a screen size that small would be wasteful. Even the DS4 would make touch commands easier than a small as hell screen that is supposed to have a big area of touch input compared to the players hand.

id really get it if 1-it was real gold and 2-it had genuine green diamonds encrusted on it. id need a wii remote, classic pro controller and pro controller to match it. i need to talk to my jeweler and see what i can get done.

Well, I'm sure Nintendo is on the works for making a slimmer smaller GP(it that's possible, lol). But for now bring out games we want(which they're already doing ).

I wonder if they could shrink it to the size of the PS Vita? The screen would still be a decent size. I think Rockodoodle is right as far as the Wii U successor is concerned. But for now I'm happy enough with the gamepad apart from the battery and the games are starting to flow.

I just want that adapter that they had at E3 So you can use two TV's. (Or monitors).

I find the size very comfortable (unlike the dualshock line, which feels like a torture device after a long gaming session), and I'm SHOCKED people have mentioned the weight. The gamepad is incredibly light, to the point I was surprised the first time I picked it up.

That said, I wouldn't mind seeing a revised version, but I'd rather it just focus on a sleeker looking design and better battery life. I don't think reducing the size would really increase its appeal.

I can already see you swaggerin' the mean streets, gold teeth grill with a golden diamond encrusted Gamepad hangin' from a gold chain round yer neck... Gamepaddin' ain't easy batch!

I got a feeling my gamepad will wear out long before the console does... there aren't any replacement gamepads for sale, right? Not even third party ones, which may not be allowed in the first place...?

it actually would match my teeth. all this just gives me more incentive to get that gamepad now.
