I'm on the fence about buying this game. On the one hand, it's only £10, but it's mostly going to be a single player experience for me, so is it worth it? It's always advertised as a multiplayer experience. Help me out here!

I'm surprised you have to ask...a first party title for a tenner - just get it, it's a bargain.
Top-10 games I played in 2017: The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild (WiiU) - Rogue Legacy (PS3) - Fallout 3 (PS3) - Red Dead Redemption (PS3) - Guns of Boom (MP) - Sky Force Reloaded (MP) - ...

Don't waste your time, the solo content will amuse you for a couple hours and that's it. If you shop at Amazon you can get half the Wii U's current library for a tenner so your better off spending it there. If not pick up a VC or Eshop game or two for that £10.
Don't buy it for single player, this is coming from experience when I pre-ordered the launch bundle, best to use your money towards another game, even if it's the Virtual Console or something.
Well that's a really good price but Nintendoland was not made for single player. Even with multiplayer it can still get boring. Nintendoland is like Wii sports (like the one that came with the system) it's nice but I'd hardly call it a game.

Nintendo Land is my most played game on the Wii U, occasionally I played with someone else, but mostly by myself. I'd say there's at least 25+ hours of content on it, if you play by yourself. It's definitely worth it.
Don't forget, half of the games on there are singleplayer exclusive games, the game is definitely build for singleplayer.
I'll just say this: I thought Nintendo land was great tech demo type game playing by myself. But once I had a few people playing find mii, it was the most fun I've had on the console with multiplayer
I'm a solo gamer, and I found it interesting for 30 hours, which is good. That said, I felt like I was missing a lot of the experience by not being able to play the multi-player-only games, which are among the most popular ones.
I bought it as a download on the day I got my Wii U; no regrets. I think there's a lot to enjoy single-player and some of the modes aren't multiplayer. There are challenge goals to get for replay value and most of the games have a couple dozen levels or more (Metroid, Zelda, Pikmin). It's not my most-played game, but it's a game I can come back to and enjoy in short bursts. My daughter enjoys it as well and it's a regular game played with her and my partner alongside Wii Party U, Game and Wario and Mario Kart 8.
For £10 buy it, the single player is decent, but multi-player is where it's really shines.
Still surprise Nintendo haven't revealed a sequel.

OK, I've made my decision, I will probably get it before Christmas if nothing else catches my fancy. The single player seems worth it. Plus it's not like I'll NEVER have an opportunity to play multiplayer. Thanks, guys!

I got it for $20 and have pretty much only played it alone. I feel it was worth it. There's actually more single player content than I expected (the Metroid, Zelda and Pikmin games can be played solo OR with friends) and it's fun collecting coins and trying to fill up the theme park.
